Should have bit on the new upgrade to the game tv but here to everyone having a good thanksgiving and black friday.

Just got the ship notice for my Dec. 30 amazon TE order, delivery tomorrow. Sucks it comes a day after I get terminated from my job, but I will have plenty of time to play.(when not in the bread line:cry:)

I wasnt very specific but at least one of those people who got theirs shipped today were at the "We will email a ship date" status. No warning just a ship notice today. So who knows? :-?

I would really like to know if having a ship date is better than the "We will email you when we have a date."? I saw several people today got theirs shipped.

Anyone know if B&M stores are going to get the special first pressing slipcase and artbook for Akira? Amazon shows product images with and without. BB shows the slipcover but doesnt mention it in the description. Im still hoping (magically) that we get the black bluray case like the asia release...

Maybe Ive been following threads all over, saw it mentioned this morning. Wouldnt be surprised if its bullshit coming from a group who charged up front and the took 5% restocking fee on canceled order for a product they never had.

Im just biding my time till I receive a similar email from amazon. I am planning on waiting because Im set on the product but blaming manufacturing slowdowns on Chinese New Year or whatever is a joke. Again props to MarkMan/others in the design of the stuff, its too bad Manufacturing/Order...

No, date still Feb 24th with 1-day ship. I emailed them last weekend and pretty much got "thats the date, we dont know why, if youd like to cancel..." I have no interest in the game without a stick. Going to have to drown my wait in Canadian Club and MvSF arcade cab at a friends.

people elsewhere have gotten their TE sticks they pre-ordered at gamestop.com w/ overnight my amazon order still shows the 24th w/ one day ship

Got mine today. Im glad to have the extra stuff the NA version doesnt, but I think I like the NA packaging better. Possibly the lack of plastic case brings the price down?

Had to bite. Anyone have impressions on the extra thing included in this thats not in the NA version?

The farthest east ive seen them is Nebraska.
