If I were Rockstar I wouldn't start pledging allegiances until there is a clear leader in the console war. The 360 or the PS3 could suddenly become a runaway success and Rockstar would get their fingers burned.
eBayers don't really bother me that much. If you really want a launch day console and you can't be bothered to wait in the rain for hours, then you can just pay three times the price on eBay.
Hit and Run was a pretty average driving game. It had it's moments , but without the simpsons license nobody would have bought it. I hope the next game is better, but most movie tie-ins are sucky shovelware, so we'll see.
Yup, we need competition to get good games made and drive down prices (if there was only one way of playing games they could charge whatever they wanted for it).
I love my Micro for several of those reasons, but thats mostly because I can't afford a DS.:roll:
However, theres no way I could go back to an original (frontlit) SP after the micro - I turned on my old one a while back and it was horrible (really dim and fuzzy with an obvious blue tint).
IIRC, when you load a Halo level it gets temporarily stored on the hard disk allowing instantaneous loading for that particular level. On the original Xbox, that data 'expires' and is deleted either when you load a different level or after a certain period of time (at least a week in...
