Bought it, there were a ton of people @ my local best buy. I got there about an hour early and got the #20 ticket. My store had a total of 30 units. By the time the store opened there was about 50-75 people waiting and when I walked out about 25 mins later, they were still turning people away...

You're correct, Resistance is normally $30 trade-in credit. However, the store rep gave me a bonus 10% coupon. Not only did I use my Edge card, they scanned in a Game Informer coupon (which they had at the desk) which gave me the bonus discount. For reference, maybe allout knows more about...

Amen. Sony was beating down the doors of any mag or site that republished that PS3 price quote last month. You're not the only one that's going to be waiting on buying a PS3.

I see, so its okay if Sony were to show trailers for games that look like MGS4 and then deliver games that look like ET on the 2600. Its only marketing, nothing was *guaranteed.* And people wonder why Sony is playing catchup...

Very accurate according to my local Best Buy, they were projected to get 116. Although the Best Buy rep didn't tell me exactly how many they had, he said "a little over 100." Pretty close to me.

Just picked up Kameo. My EB expects extra controllers, faceplates, and a bunch of other accessories tomorrow.

Aside from the EA titles which always have a short lifespan in terms of their launch prices, I'd say Gun & Tony Hawk (drop in price the fastest). I don't expect a price reduction on Kameo, PDZ, PGR3, anytime in the near future.
