The "Tales" series is absolutely crazy when it comes to pricing. I too remember the sub $20 Amazon deals and now we've come to a point where $35 is considered a deal.
It was the same with "Abyss". I saw 10 sealed copies at a Walmart for $20 a year and a half ago and now used copies go for...
At $18 it's a solid game even if you didn't grow up playing the first 3. Graphics are amazing and it's still the best current gen stealth action game available. Shooting mechanics and controls are greatly improved over the earlier MGS games. The only knock on it is that it's fairly short if...
Such a great game for $10. A long, adult oriented RPG that runs about 30-40 quality hours. If you have a PC that can run this and like RPG's, you can't go wrong with this game.
You'll easily put 100 hours into a game like this. Maybe even more. $30 is a good deal for that amount of content. Plus, you'll be supporting the developers.
No you two aren't in the same boat. Zforce's post had a point. He showed you can get a message across without being an asshole about it.
You are correct about yourself, though. Pointless fail.
Thanks, that's good enough. I've got an i5 750 with a GTX 260 and I was wondering how mine would hold up. I find it hard to believe a GTX 260 runs the game terribly(per earlier posts) but I suppose it's possible if this is one of the worst ports of all time.
The trend seems to be smaller electronics = better? I think the fattys look better too but I'll only buy a slim because of the 45nm chipset. Should run cooler and use less power.
There's no way that 80GB is only 3 months old(especially if it's BC). The 80GB models have been discontinued since last year.
As it's already been said, you could have had a 120GB slim brand new for what you paid if you were a little patient. But since you had to have it this instant, I guess...
I'd go the PS3 route. It's one item so it's a lot simpler than having to sell a bunch of XBL points/sub cards. Weeding out all of the flakes on CL is a chore and I'd rather do it once for a PS3 versus multiple times for the points/sub cards.
I'm in the same boat as the OP. I really want to pick up a PS3 and Heavy Rain on Tuesday, but the CAG in me won't let me pay retail. As of right now, the best thing to do is wait until Walmart or Sears get 20% Bing cashback?
It's been the top seller on Amazon's videogame chart since the reviews started to hit the net. It's a game targeted at adults with disposable income that are tired of playing the same old games over and over again. I'd say the potential for good sales is very high. Also, if you preorder...
The only thing missing is a cpu cooler. The i7 will come with a heatsink but it's just barely adequate. With a nice setup like yours, it's worth it to spend an extra 20-30$ on a heatsink that will keep your CPU much cooler than stock. CPU coolers are chosen based on socket. Your processor is...
Your OCZ PSU is fine. The newegg reviews prove that. PC Power & Cooling/Corsair are excellent PSU's no doubt but you'll pay a big price premium for them. It's overkill and not necessary. Hell, I'm running with a 600 Watt Ultra for the last 3 years and have had zero problems.
Also, don't...
If you've never played a Tales game then get Tales of Symphonia. It's a good introduction to the series. Then play this game since it's a direct sequel.
Then, if you want more Tales, play Abyss.
