I checked in-store with Hastings a few days ago and they're giving $100 credit for XL systems. I'm not sure if they're matching Gamestop/Amazon, how long it last, or if it applies for the other systems too. I'm going to trade my XL in to them, since I mistaken said I was sending the wrong color...

I find it weird that my store didn't have any signage up for this. As a matter of fact, signs they already had up, they took down. But I did confirm they were doing buy 2 get 1 for $1 on games, music, movies, comics, and books.

Ah, I played the 360 version. Depends on the bugs on whether or not it's worth $5. If there's player patches or upcoming patches, that sort of stuff. I've actually played and enjoyed Gothic 3 and Two Worlds, including game crashing bugs for Gothic, so I guess my tolerance for bugs is high.

I thought Saints Row 2 was a fun game. It's not particularly deep or serious, but that's why I prefer it over GTA IV. I don't like GTA IV, but I like Saint's Row 2. It's a fun game, and is definitely worth the $5. Pirates!, Bioshock, Chronicles of Riddick, STALKER, all great games for $5 each.

The place was a mess. So, it's typical K Mart. The only other K Mart that's left that I've been to is the one in Oviedo, ended up buying Forza 2 for $2 and Super Robot Taisen OG GBA for $6. I should go back, see what's up now.

I've bought both Operation Darkness and Zoids Assault and both were factory sealed. Same for Black Sigil, but I suppose that's too new to be expected otherwise.

I still think Target is doing the clearance thing better. More games more often at low prices.

Most of the $5 games were PS2. What little PS3 games they had were $10 and up, mostly up. Around the $20 mark. I may have gotten the last Hots Shots, but I don't know. I do know that most of the $5 games were on an end cap, facing the TVs.
