I used to listen to a small handful of podcasts, but that has mostly died down now. Mostly since 1UP Yours went away and now Retronauts is gone.

Beat Pokemon White [JP] this weekend and have been working on a few others at the moment, mostly the Pokemon Ranger games tying up loose ends and trying to finish those.

I don't understand how load screens are taking away from the gameplay or experience of the game. DR1 had the same kind of load screens, which weren't a problem then, so why are they a problem now?

To my knowledge, as long as it is paused, it doesn't take from in-game time, however all of my playthroughs have been at once.

This is most likely due to it being a under 1GB download arcade game, and less on poor programming. The finished product will most likely not have as bad, if even a "bad" pop-in problem. You also have to remember, the game itself is pushing hardware due to having x number of characters...

The game time moves on an accelerated clock. I think it's something like every 1 minute our time is like 4-6 minutes game time. I know this due to if you sit and play straight through the 72 hour mode on DR1, it will take ~14 hours of straight playing.

Jed in Case 0 was easier than any of the original DR bosses. That said, after playing Case 0 through about three times, I'm even more excited about the game.

You do realize that this is really just a small percentage of the overall game right?

PSP and N64. Own both and play them occasionally, but could never really get into playing either for extended periods of time, whether alone or with someone else.

My favorite game based on characters/story is Half-Life 2.
