Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Tru tru, Target seem to only have Zelda TP (like 25 copies at each store), Super Smash Bro Melee, and Mario Kart. All the rest is basically junk titles like Teen Titans, Sonic Heroes, Madagascar+Medal of Honor 2, and Spiro. I did end up buying Teen Titans, Sonic Heroes, and Melee from target to use the $5 dollar coupon. I will say Sonic Heroes is a lot harder then I expected, and might of been worth the clearance price. My gf loves the game and its always in the gamecube.

Then I stashed Parapper The Rapper and Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars. Both were #20.98 and they could do one more drop. I was hoping to add SF: Logans Shadow to the pile, but it in the glass case for $27.98.

those are $15 at the target by me except syphon filter that one is $19.98, i also spotted several simpsons ps3 for $12.98 and ncaa march madness 08 for $12.98

Most times, you'll have to look for a younger manager to ask to check in the back. That's how I ended up with my 3 HD-DVD drives last week, since the person in electronics gave me the same crap about 'all that we have is out here in the cases or on the shelves'.

I know that that is NOT true because a friend of mine(and fellow CAG who goes all over friggin' creation for deals still)got them to bring out a cartload of games which were stashed in the back.

It helps if you have the UPC# from the item you're looking for, since they can look it up on the computers to see if they have any in stock. If they do and then the both of you go to the cases and DON'T see them there, then that is a great reason to ask them if it may be in the back someplace.

I, however, have NEVER had any luck asking the electronics department workers to check in the back for me though, so this is a HUGE YMMV.

Well, i usually go to the laurel mall k-mart atleast twice a week, which is why you probably think it's so horrible there. I only live about 6 miles away from there. You could always just let me know if there's anything there you're looking for, and i could always pick one up for ya and send it to ya in the mail, since it'd probably be cheaper for me to ship it, than it would be for you to drive here and check. Most of the stuff i pick up i end up trading on gametz, and a select few items, like wii sports and wavebirds for example, i usually sell on amazon. I'm guessing you left out the wilkes-barre k-mart on purpose?

2 of the 5 Targets I go to have at LEAST 10 copies of Kane and Lynch in their glass cases. Im hoping it stays that way and soon enough K&L will be clearanced to $19.98 and then Ill hide a few copies and wait it out for $14.98 or less

The manager who I had check the Moosic store's inventory for me before I picked up the HD-DVD drives said the only other store with them in stock was Kingston/Edwardsville. The Hazleton store has been all but useless to me for a long while now, since I picked up the car adapter for the PS1/LCD screen combo I had there. Every game they had(including a copy of Silent Hill 2 for Xbox) rang up MORE than I wanted to pay, so I just decided that for the money, it wasn't worth the trip really.

Although, if you do find a copy of Mercenaries for PS2 or Xbox in your travels, let me know, since I'd be willing to pay a few for that. Mind you, someone else told me GS is having a b1g1 on June 1st for Xbox games, so I may just hold off and grab it then.

As for the WB store, it's a 50/50 store anymore, with SOME decent games and some which are worthless. The only game I saw there that I would've wanted to grab for trade list purposes was Just Cause. They had 2-3 copies there, but AS USUAL, there was no one around to open the cases to get a PC.

They're just going to end up giving them to good will. I would try getting a bunch of them with the 10 off coupon if they are 9.98. Then give them away to friends, trade them at Blockbuster or Gamestop, or attempt selling them on ebay.

I thought the Targets in my area were mostly cleaned out of clearance games. Today, I went to Target to check if the price on some guides had dropped (waiting for 75% off). I found The Bigs 360 and a couple of Harry Potters 360 for $14.98. Bought them each for $4.98 after coupon (2 seperate transactions).

Also, found a copy of Full Auto 2 PSP. It was stickered at $14.98 but it scanned at $7.48. When I tried to pay, it rang up at $14.98. I told the clerk but she just pointed out the price on the sticker. I took other games to that same scanner and the prices where all over the place. Nascar 08 PS3 (stickered at $24.98) scanned at $41.98. s
