Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

For PS3 games, the DPCI on target.com is not the same that will be used in the B&M. This makes locating items in store from home a real pain. All B&M DPCIs for PS3 games should be 207 24 XXXX

I got mine in the electronic clearance part; although I did see them also in the regular keyboard part of electronics. I think it was near the hard drives, etc.

If one scans at clearance, they all will. Consider yourself lucky that they are still in the case, much higher chance of them dropping if they are stuck in there unmarked.

You should ask to see if they have like the GTA collectors pack(PS1), Double Pack(Xbox), or Trilogy pack(Xbox) somewhere in the store room. The Xbox ones are worth some cash if you buy them at the right price, but I do not know about the PS1.

I went to another Target close to me (Liberty, MO) and found a copy of Capcom Classic Remixed fro the PSP. It rang up $7.48. Nothing much else of note video game wise. They had a stack of Jabra Bluetooth headsets. I hope they last long enough to go to 75% off.

Just got back from target this morining and they had all their logitech headsets and webcams on clearance.
I got the last Quickcam 9000 for 49.99
they also had some lesser model webcams in the 30s and 20s
headsets (w/mic) were 19.xx for the over the head, cover your ear kind
and
12.xx for the behind the ear kind with changable color covers for earpieces.

Other than that, don't know if it is on here, but rockstar table tennis for th wii was clearanced at 27.xx.

There were also a lot of phone accessories clearanced, unfortunately none for my Samsung A707.

Target clearance prices are always YMMV I wouldn't be surprised if some stores still have Crackdown for full price.

DAMN!!! Then there's another 'better' game set that I sold off with my massive lot in February. Thing is, I just bought the Double Pack out at a Best Buy in Paramus, NJ about a year or two ago.

Ahhh well....

I'm gonna go check the other local Target today and at least one more Kmart. Although, I think I have enough of the 360 HD-DVD drives for now(3), though one of them I'm planning on messing around with to get running as an external DVD drive for my PC.

Do they always put "New" games on clearance each week? By new I mean will they have different games on clearance each week that are dropping out of their inventory? Or is it a crap shoot for when they do it?

You never know. Some weeks it seems to be new games and some it seems to be further drops on old clearance games.

Yea it varies each week and with each store. Some weeks will have new clearance games while others will just be further drops in price for those games. Word of advice though; find a target that is good about dropping games fast and check this thread every week to see if the game(s) you want have dropped.

Well I have a "Target Route" already set up. Its about a total of 30 miles round trip and I hit 5 Targets in the circle that I make. So its not bad. I JUST realized (thanks to this thread) that they EVEN HAVE a clearance endcap that has games on it lol. Last week was my frist trip and I found a couple of games that I had wanted, and a couple that I can flip at BB/GR.

I went to the Target where I grabbed the last copy of Simpsons PS3 for 12.48 like 3 weeks ago, and buried in the clearance stack was another copy marked at 34.98 but still ringing up at 12.48! Somebody must have found a REALLY good hiding spot, cause before 12.48 that thing was sitting at 24 for a month and a half.

I finally found Lair at the magical $14.98 price point.

I think the Guitar Hero 1/2 two game pack may have been taken off of clearance. Two weeks ago I spotted it at two different Targets for $29.98. Earlier this week both Targets had moved them back in the glass case and removed the red clearance stickers from them.

I traveled to 4 Target stores yesterday and found a few things. I got NCAA Football 08 and Tony Hawk for the PS3 for a total of $21. I also saw a few copies of Capcom Collection for PSP, Sega Genesis Collection, Genji for the PS3 for $7.48 and Guitar Hero II w/Guitar for the PS2 for $39 just to name a few.

I'm still looking for Virtua Tennis 3 and the Simpsons for the PS3. If anyone can give me a deal on both, PM me.

I don't remember if I've mentioned this or not, but the Targets in the Metro Detroit area that I've been to recently almost all have a ton of copies of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for the GBA - we're talking entire endcaps full of this one game.

It's $15 now, but given the number of copies it should still be available once it drops again. I might bite for it then.

I'm still looking for a copy of the simpsons (found it at $25, but hoping it goes a little lower). What price are you wanting it for, I'm not sure what the lowest price is. If you want it for $25 plus shipping, I'll pick it up if I see it again.

I flipped most of the virtua tennis games I've found, but there is a target here with another 3 or 4 of them that I have nowhere to flip. If you want one for $10 plus shipping, I can do that as well (or a decent trade).

Not much else to speak of around here, I'm waiting for the Eye bundles to go on clearance around here, I want eye of judgement for my son. He loves Pokemon, and I think he would really like it, but I'm not willing to drop the $70 for it.

Would be glad to trade anything I can find for the cheap eye of judgement bundles. Let me know.
