Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Me: "I bought two games that were $7.48 last week and got them for -$7.48"
Manager: "Then they made a mistake"
Me: "Right, so the games should be free"
Manager: "But the coupons doesn't say free, it says $10 off"
Me: "I'm not asking you to give me $0.02 back, I'm just asking for the amount off up to the total price of $9.98"

Ok so coupon fraud is ok but what I did is not. Both of the coupons says void if copied purchased transfered or sold. The coupon is a copy and it is freely posted and told how to be used to commit fraud at Target. At least be consistent people. Unless you got the ad from Target that contained the coupon then you are committing fraud when you use your copy. If Target posted it on their website to be printed like they do a lot of coupons then it would be legit. They did not because they did not want it printed and used like most here are doing.

No. Target drops are YMMV. Typically, the same games are clearanced in all Targets, but the rate that they drop varies. For example, CAGs in this thread were reporting getting PS3 Orange Box for $15 where at my Targets they were still $41 (if they would have lasted, they would eventually drop that low).

Rule 1 of coupons like this: Don't EVER alert corp. about it! Doing so creates a very slim chance of it happening again. Sorry the coupon didn't work for you, but if you read the 100+ pages of the thread, go back and try again, add some candy, there are other ways to get the coupon to work without wasting more than 2 minutes of your time and compromising the coupon for the rest of CAG.

Your right. The 5$ off one is legit. It actually says web coupon on top. The xbox one is still fraud if printed and used. I have also seen many other coupon threads that use coupon fraud here on CAG like this one

I got Virtua Tennis 3 (XBOX 360) for free yesterday at Florence, KY Target. The coupon scanned, then said something like "No item qualifies". The cashier looked over the coupon and then just subtracted $10. I also picked up NBA Home Court (PS3) for $7.48. Can you tell me what the difference between this guy that bought 5 copies at once and the traveling idiots that go to like 5 targets in there town multiple times and days and buys one game at a time?? Wouldn’t you consider them both hoarders for buying out all the copys instead of leaving a few for others??? I am just curious because the only thing I think he did wrong personally was just calling corp. If it were me I would be like oh ok and drop my other stuff off and come back and get them from a different cashier at least try one first then proceed to trying to buy more if that’s your deal.
All I know is that I better be able to get my 4.99 points card Jedah whatever hopefully you didn’t really ruin this for everyone with that one phone call.

OK, has ANYONE had any luck in the KC area finding any of the target clearance deals? I've checked every store in Olathe and Overland Park, and simply can't find a deal at all.

I would love to find NCAA football 2008 for $10, or any PS3 game under $20 really, and haven't found one...

Anybody else in this area having any luck?

The Club PS3 - $29.98 at my Target. I'm in if it drops to $15 I think. Nothing else worth mentioning. WEas really hoping they would still have a copy of Lair once it dropped to $15 but no luck.

There were a bunch of Forza 2's for $20 and Gameboy Micros for $40, but there still wasn't a single PS3 game on clearance at my Target.

Worth mentioning though, Tomb Raider Legend for PS2 was priced at $13.

I got a PS3 one that I'll probably return. I'm not sure why I bought it other than it seemed like a good deal. I already have the 360 version.

Anyway, I'm sure it is because of the coupon, but I have seen absolutely NO clearance 360 games at the last few stores I've gone to. There's plenty of PS3 stuff, but nothing for 360 (or Wii for that matter which is wierd). I thought I found a Cars today, but much to my surprise it scanned at $29.99! I guess that has been taken off clearance (it was a 360 Family Hits version - same thing I saw on clearance a week ago).
