Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Finally scored some 14.98 games at Target in NE Philadelphia.

Blue Dragon, and Folklore. I had to ask an associate who was doing clearance if this was going to be clearanced anymore today from the $41.98 price, sure enough she scanned it and brought it down to $14.98! Blue Dragon was already marked at 14.98, also these were the last copies of both games.

No, they had about 5 or 6 copies left of NFS Carbon. At least at my Target, it more or less might be Most Wanted, I can't see them selling Pro Street for 8 bucks when it came out a few months ago, then again you never know.

Also, I just came back from the South Philly Target, and hardly any deals. The Halo Wireless was on clearance at 41.98, only thing worth mentioning was Monster Madness for 20 bucks.

(town square) The Target there has Viva Piñata for $14.98 (got one) they had like 6 more , they had strangehold for 41.xx , the simpsons game for 30 something , they also had some ps2 games for $9.xx shadow of the colosus , two different Naruto games and some others , sorry i was more interested in the 360 games.

First the run in. Folklore FINALLY dropped to 15 today. So, I nabbed that, and I asked the electronics guy to get Jericho too, since it also dropped. Well, he of course wanted me to check out back there, so I comply. I drop the coupon, and he's having none of it. I tell him a "friend" used one recently on video games with no problem. He says nope. I say I consider video games as toys. He says nope. I say, I can't really believe he's gonna refuse a sale based on $5 and I grab folklore, since he has jericho in his grubby little hands.

I grab a non-ph lego star wars instead and some gum to take me over $25. I head to the front, and this guy follows me. Well, the cashier had already scanned the coupon and it worked of course. He tries to tell me that he forbade me to use it, and I'm like, whatever dude, just used it. So he then recedes into the darkness.

On a more positive note. Because I bought Folklore, I then returned a Blue Dragon and Spider-Man i had bought for trading towards Folklore here. I had used the coupon on them too, but when I returned them, my credit card got credited the full amount, with out the coupon deduction. So, I got a free $5 from target for my toubles. Boo-Yah!

I cant find folklore anywhere! 1 store supposedly had 4 copies but I wasnt gonna drive over their since its relatively faraway. Gave them a call and got some japanese lady, she looked in the PS3 case for folklore and couldn't find it. Then I gave her the dpci and she said they had 4 on hand, but the location was unknown according to the scan gun! She looked around and couldn't find it in electronics anywhere! Obviously this game is either going to be locked up or soldout at the 15 dollar price. Then I called back and got some black guy. He was like ya we dont have it, then he looked on the dpci and saw 4 also and was like maybe they are in the back. I heard him call over the radio to someone in the back I assume about the game folklore, funny thing is I heard him say something to the extent of the game is only 15 bucks. As far as new games, I saw what everyone else saw, but few confirmed Naruto or Rainbow 6 Vegas, both of which I saw. Between the PS3 games and 360 games that recently have hit 75% off and now Stranglehold, Simpsons, PGR4!, F1, College Hoops 2k8, Lego Star Wars I'm going to be spending a lot of money on games that really had my interest. Now if only I could buy the time to play them all thoroughly. . .

Does anyone else think it's ironic that PGR3 and PGR4 are on clearance at the same time? I keep waiting for Soldier of Fortune to hit clearance. That seems like one of those games that won't last long.

Capcom Classics Portable, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Mega Man Maverick Hunter.

forgive me if i jumped to conclusions. surely you can understand the frustration caused by people who take more than what they need at the expense of others who just want a copy for their own use.
