Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

If you were asking whole price i would agree with them, but since you are asking for the discounted price I don't see that as poaching. That's why we offer to pick up stuff for people at targets when ours has like 20 copies and noone else can find it. If I din't have a costco I would be greatful for that offer.

Hey, you're in my area and I saw the same thing but wanted to wait for $14.98 . Did they have more than 1 there?

As for the Kotaku article, the only thing even close that I remember was when my local Target, for some reason, had about 50 copies of NBA Live 2004 (back in 2005 or so). This was back when Target would drop stuff to 90% off or more - they eventually hit $3.xx I believe. But that Kotaku pic shows WAY more than 50 :lol:.

Went to Target last night, and really didn't see much of anything. I then walked over a row or two from the games, and in a clearance end cap with some other junk, I found the clearance games. PGR 4 for 360 for $15 (PH version) and $30 (reg version), MLB The Show 07 PS3 for $20, and Shadow of the Colossus PS2 for $9.98. They had two copies of crackdown, but both were 29.98

After seeing Crackdown show up on Kotaku, I went to my local Target which I knew had the game in stock, hoping the price had finally dropped.

I got there, they had one copy, and it was still $29.98.

My local Target had no price drops this week. Simpsons Game was $24.98. Stranglehold (360) was $41.98. Naruto was $29.99. Crackdown scanned in at $41.98, too even though my store doesn't own it.

People that shop at the target I go to must be stupid. Whenever there is a a decent game on clearance, regardless of the price, it will be bought out in less than a week. Example Stranglehold (360)--4 out of 5 copies sold at 41.xx, and the last at 29.xx(?).

6 out of 8 copies of Crackdown gone at 41.xx, and one more copy still at that price. PGR III 20.xx all but one copy gone.
Its absurd. Most of these games are all within a dollar or two of the MSRP. The only exception was Blue Dragon which the ydid not sell any of the 5 copies until it was 14.xx (and one was to me!).

Why buy the original supreme commander, and forged alliance, i though forge alliance was an exapansion that included the original SC and extras. i.e u don't need SC to play FA.

Where'd you find Folklore? I've hit a lot of Targets looking for it. The ones in Bowie, Owings Mills, Pikesville, and Ellicot City only had MLB The Show and Quake Wars for 27.98
