Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Just be sure you actually TEST OUT said Gamestop used card, since my one buddy ended up with a dead Sony card(green one). It didn't even show up in the browser screen, if that tells you how messed up it was.

Yes, it's true they have the same technology as normal PS2, first-party cards. I've had one for years without any problems. However, there's no telling if the parts are put together as well as the Sony ones.

SotC is a great game you should give it a chance. Its much more then Ico was. If you dont like it there is not much i can say, Ive never met anyone that didnt like it, gamer or not.

Haha, it's not really that ghetto, it's just what I've come to call it (after working at one in college). I doubt it will go to $2.50, and in fact I'm suprised it went down to 95% off. They tend to only drop price in increments of 5%.

I'm not sure. A Target by me in Coral Springs, FL has Maverick Hunter X, SFA3 Max, and Capcom Collection Reloaded all for $15 each. This is the regular price listed on the shelf, not a red clearance tag.

I'm surprised they dropped the price to 2.98, I figured 4.98 would be the lowest they would go. I'll probably stop by there tonight, they seem to be completely random as to when they update prices.

One Target in town here had Avatar 360 for $2.98. That's the only current gen game I've seen go that low.

I think it took me less than 2 minutes once the game was loaded. I'm all about 50+ presses of the "B" button for 1000 achievements. One day I will actually play the game, but for now I have other clearance titles to play for achievements.

Didn't notice any clearance titles of note at the Parma, Ohio store. I had a cheat-sheet of UPC codes I made up and noticed that there were no price drops aside from Stranglehold going from $41.98 to $29.98. Didn't see any games on the shelves, but Naruto was still $29.98, Rainbow Six Vegas was still $19.98. Spider-Man: Friend or Foe was still $12.48, and Simpsons Game was still $24.98. Unfortunately someone snagged the only remaining copy of Simpsons Game. The clearance shelf is pretty much bare and I didn't see any 360 or PS3 games there. Hey - I rhymed!

Yes, but I don't think it was Sears, I'm pretty sure it was Target as well.

I've only found one decent deal at Target so far which was Spiderman Friend or For for $12.50. My local Target had 30 copies of Stranglehold sitting on a shelf for 41.98. They weren't even in the case. Found that surprising since the 14.98 Viva Pinata Party Animals were.

ET was an overproduced piece of shovelware, Crackdown is a decent game that it seems some store ordered too many copies of.
