Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I tried doing that today, they only adjust within 14 days if it is a sale item only. I asked nicely but she said I had to wait until it circulated back to the floors again in order to buy it at the lower price.

Not a bad run this morning, didnt buy a lot but was impressed for the first time in a while with the selection. Only saw 360 though, no PS3 games at all really except in the cases. Everything else was found in the clearance endcaps in both stores. The 2nd stores endcap is way to the right of the regular games case if facing the TVs.

Really had nothing, but an absolute pile (10+) of Crackdowns at 14.98, picked one up. They also had a 3rd party HDMI cable on clearance but its still 27.98. I did see one or two Def Jam Icons, some College Hoops 2K8 and NHL 2K8, all were pricing at 29.98 still, but Def Jam was 14.98. I passed.

There was one additional copy at the SE Target as-of last night. It's in the back end-cap, near the TVs and the blank media aisle.

I'm also really shocked that there is another Cedar Rapids CAG! Now I know who to blame everytime I drive down to Toys R Us and they have absolutely nothing left on clearance!

I have not had success price matching clearance items. I keep all of my receipts and open all of my games. I just buy the game at a lower price and use my old recept to return the new copy of the game.

Bingo. I do the same thing here. In fact, let me add to that by saying that it's a good idea to keep the receipts in your car to save yourself a trip to Target. That way, as soon as you buy the game, leave the store, return to your car, get your old receipt, and march right back over to the return counter.

Most of the time, yes. Sometimes, no. That's why it's always good to run the item under a price scanner. If the games are in a cabinet, the answer is almost always "yes", but you never know unless you ask.

I was going to sell the zune to one of my co workers but after playing around with it i will definitely keep it. It has a clean interface and it is easy to use. syncing is effortless, and the fact that i can use my microsoft points to buy song is priceless. I hope microsoft pushes the zune to at least take a chunk out of apple monopoly. It is really not a bad portable music player, try it out guys. And by the way i dont work for MS.
