Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

The other day I saw a bunch of copies of Rise of Legends (PC) for $15. Supposed to be a good RTS, I might have to go back and get a copy after reading the reviews.

Its been cheaper, it was part of the epic CC sale and Gogamer has it for $10 but they've been out of stock for a while.

I thought Target usually did the clearance stuff in the middle of the day, or are the prices dropped on the computer at the start of the day and it's just an issue of tagging items throughout the day? (I.e., if there is stuff I am waiting to see if it drops, should I wait til the afternoon to be sure the clearance group has done the dropping, or would it already be reflected in the price on the scanners?)

I'm sure you're talking about the 30 gb Zune. I found 2 30gb couple days ago and the dcpi number is the same. I just randomly entered some at the terminal and found the corresponding colors within the same 5 digit range. You may want to double check the price on the 80's. I picked up 2 doodoo brown ones for around $132.98 with no clearance tags on them.

I just got back from Target in Exton PA. I picked up the Wireless XBOX 360 adapter for the PC for $4.98. This lets you use XBOX 360 controllers on your PC.

I also saw, but did not get Mad Catz XBOX controllers for 4.98. Guitar Hero III bundle for the PC for $55.98. Lots of PC drops like Rise of Nations, Neverwinter Nights 2 and it's expansion, Medeivel Total War II among others. All were at 20. At $4.98 was LOTR: Online.

Maybe I should have clarified which player he was referring to. I'm looking for the Mix Max player that does video as well. I've seen the Mix Stick mp3 player as low as 12.48. There are two versions of the video player: one will take a 4gb SD card and the other a 2gb. I believe the mp3 player only will handle up to a 1gb card.
