Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I found FEAR (PS3) for $14.98 at one of the stores on Capital Blvd. in Raleigh. I'm pretty sure it was the last one, but I did notice a $14.98 copy of Genji as well.

Some people are actually trying to steal shit from the clearance section in my near by store (PC Software). That's sad that they are trying to steal shit that's on clearance for less than 10 bucks.

Because stores won't really prosecute for >10 bucks. What a target worker told me. They usually just call parents, or ban from store.

Was looking for Lair, Orange Box, N.GaidenSigma(PS3), BlueDragon, and FolkLore...but no luck =/

the other Target had Lair and Orange Box! but at 29.99 i told him they were less expensive, but he told me that its a manager decision, and to come back monday (when items on clearance apparently drop price again).

Ohh well, guess ill try on monday, wish me luck fellas.

if you're talking about the dadeland one, their selection sucks hug ass. most things that should have clearance markdowns usually never do there. I check very often.

I went to my Target quickly as saw some stuff. If anyone remembers that pic of an endcap filled with Crackdown, that happened to me. Except with Big Mamma's House 2 on DVD. They all had those As Is stickers for about $3.50. I guess they found a few cases they should have sold? Also saw a Polaroid digital camera for... something. And an Olympus 7.1 megapizel camera at 50% at $114.98. They had a couple to so if that drops, I may pick one up for myself.

As for video game related stuff, they had a few DS Lite Zelda: Phantom Hourglass cases for $4.98. I may go back an pick one up for my Zelda nerd-dom. The 360 HD DVD drive for.... too much. The Halo 3 fathead/wall skin for $3.74. Boogie and SingStar on the PS2 for $20.98. They STILL had a few copies of Golden Compass on the PS2 and Wii. And they had a ton of PC games on clearance, though I'm not remembering prices..or many titles. King's Quest Collection. Civilization 3. Evidence: The Last Ritual for $20.98 (which I recommend if you ever wanted to be a police detective in a creepy case). I was hoping they still had a copy of the Ship from last time but i didn't see any...

I have to agree with you there about the Dadeland one, I have tried several times there and the selection stinks as well as the pricing. About the cheapest thing I have seen there is NHL 2K8 for 14.98. I picked up Lair at that Target a few weeks ago for the 29.98, wasn't going to take the risk of missing out, as I have yet to find it elsewhere (on clearance).

I usually find the best selection at the Target on Kendal Drive.

So last week I had to return the $10 Spongepod (1 GB Npower fission mp3 player) because it would only play through one channel after about an hour of use. Well, this week I had to return the $20 Spongepod video player (Npower fusion media player). It has a nice screen for $20 but after my son played with it for an hour or so it completely lost its internal memory. It would start up and say it had no capacity and no free space. Resetting it did nothing. When I plugged it into the computer it said it needed to be formatted so I did so (this is also suggested in the manual if resetting doesn't work). Afterwards it only had half the capacity it started with even though there was nothing on it. What a pain. Anyway, I still have another of each kind and we'll see how those hold up. I noticed when I went to 2 Target's last night that all of those players were completely gone from both - even at the store where they were still $20/$40 last week. I thought that was wierd - maybe they pulled them all for quality control reasons :lol:.

Also, most of the cheap games were wiped clean - found nothing of interest except for an unmarked Viva Pinata Party Animals (rang up $7.48). I think the only reason it was unmarked was that it was placed in the same slot as the regular VP game so an employee must have thought it was just another of those.

$35 for EoJ is not bad but I got it from GS complete used last week for $20 with the 25% off coupon plus the Edge card.

An excellent purchase either way .

On another note, I picked up the last PS3 The Simpsons ($24.xx), PS3 Lair ($29.xx), and the NDS headset ($3.xx) at the White Plains, NY Target. There is one more copy of Lair and 3-4 more copies of PS3 The Orange Box for $29.xx at the end cap area.

Yeah they seem to hide used EoJ's behind the counter at the Gamestops around here. I had to ask for it which resulted in the GS employee drudging through the drawers picking out each of the set pieces individually.
