Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Duluth, MN target found a bunch of PGR4s at a different video game endcap. it was on the bottom level but towards the top so the middle shelf was hanging over it, so they were hard to spot. thought they might be on clearance but didn't see a sticker. scanned it and they were 14.98. so if anybody who lives in Duluth actually reads this thread, that might help you out.

Stopped by the Target last week and picked up the 360 VGA adapter for 4, and Supreme Commander for 8. PGR 4 was still at 30 went back yesterday and scored it for 14.98 and Viva Pinata PA for 7.98. This was in Milwaukee off of HWY 100 on the Northside, they had a few copies of PGR4 left.

The Target in Menominee(sp?) Falls had Def Jam Icon for 360 for 14.98 but I passed. They had a few ps3 games such as LAIR and Tony Hawks PG but for 30 so I left there empty handed. They also had quite a few copies of PGR4 but I didn't check the price.

It happens sometimes, and there isn't much you can do about it - if they won't sell you the item, you can't make them do it.

I had something similiar happen - a copy of Spider-Man: Friend or Foe was listed as not in the system. The attendant with the gun zapper zapped it and said that they could sell it to me for $12.48 - which ain't bad at all - so I picked it up.

Picked up Crackdown for $14.98 ($9.98 w/ coupon). It rang up OOS but it had a price tag and they gave it to me for that price.

Some of the Targets in my area are taking Orange Box ($29.98), Lair ($29.98) and MoH: Airborne ($41.98) out of the glass case and putting them in the clearance endcap. OB is now completely disappearing from most of my local Targets. Hopefully, all 3 make it to $14.98 but it doesn't look good. Maybe tommorrow.

Also, saw a Sportster 3 Sirius Dock & Play radio for clearance at $24.98.

As usual my target was picked clean. All Orange Box PS3 were gone right after it hit $29.98. Only a handful of sports clearance games left untouched.

I did find a lone copy of Lego Star Wars II Xbox 360. It scanned as out of the system but they found the last price drop was $4.98.

This kinda happened to me a few months ago when I found FF:ROTSS for the 360 on clearance for 2.xx! Brought it to the casher, the system beeped telling her not to sell it, she called a manager and the manager TOOK IT AWAY AND WALKED AWAY without telling me jack. I had to demand an explanation. Was told that the game was being recalled and that's why they couldn't sell it, however all the other non clearance tagged FF:ROTSS 360 were ringing up 19.99 and they could sell me that. When I questioned them on the reason why are they trying to sell me the exact same game for the higher price point when they could sell me it for the cheaper one, the manager couldn't give me a reason but knew I had him in a corner so he let me have the clearance price one. No way in hell I was going to pay 20 bucks for an item that was ringing up 2.xx at the same store. flipped it and got 30 dollars in credit! \\

Wow, I hate to hear the stories about employees not selling games or being unreasonable. My nearby Target electronics/games employees always go out of their way to help (I cruise 4 diff Targets on a regular basis).

After a recent warehouse cleaning at one store, a bunch of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl stylus' showed up in the cabinet. I asked an employee about them and he said I needed to buy or pre-order the game (which has already been out for over a year as most of you know) -- I explained Santa already hooked my kids up with both Diamond and Pearl games, but we didn't have the cool stylus'. He went ahead and rang them up at the register at the electronics counter, and they came up as $0.00. He put them both in a bag, gave me the $0.00 receipt, and with a big grin handed them to me and told me to "have a nice day, and save the receipt in case I needed to return them." My kids were totally stoked.

I picked up a copy of the Simpsons game for the PS3 today, it was $25.00 I was waiting for a price drop and other locations but none of them went lower than 25, so when I saw it today I thought it was worth it. I also have seen many many many copies of Lair and The Orange Box but they are still at 30, hoping for a price dorp on those tomorrow. . . . All AOE games are awesome, including Age of Mythology (usually $9.99 on the bargain jewel disc rack) and the DS version Age of Kings.
