Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Maybe this 250gb PS3 is a conspiracy. Target website shows about 5-6 stores that are supposed to have stock within 15 miles from me and I visited the one store and called about 5 others and they are all saying no stock... is the website that off or whats the deal here? I've been calling the stores and having them look it up by the DCPI number and getting no results.
 
I went to another Target, the one closer to my house, and found over 100 DS games on their first price drop. Some 20 or so Wii games too. What really caught my attention was DJ Hero for the PS2 and Wii for $69.99.

I can pick up one of the DJ Heros for someone if they want to pay that and cover the shipping cost.

I saw mine in southeastern PA. Basically, like all Target clearance items, some stores may be behind in marking them as clearance. Give them a few weeks.
 
I've been holding off on getting Gears of War 2 since it came out. (I have no idea why I've waited this long to play this game, but whatever....lol.)

My local Taget has the game listed at $29.99 in the game case. But the game is no longer listed as a game that Target.com even carries anymore. I see the original on the website under the 360 games, but not GOW2.

Has this title been moved to clearance already? Hoping my local Target just overlooked this and didn't put it on the clearance rack.

I've seen both the original and goty on clearance this week (same sku?). I'm trying to hold off until it gets < $20 myself, but there's only been one or two copies at each of the Targets I've been at so I'll probably miss it.

Side note: no clearance PS3s on the Kansas side of KCMO that I've found yet (checked both Olathe stores and South OP today). I still can't justify buying one even for $100 off, but the hunt is half the fun.
 
Went to Target this morning and they had:

PS3 Shaun White Target exclusive for $10.xx

PS3 Transformers for $20.xx

360 Band Hero kit for $13x.xx

Also had a lot of DS and PS2 games but since I don't buy any of them I didn't pay attention to prices...sorry.
 
I found a 250GB PS3 today but it wasn't marked as clearance. I saw one sitting on the shelf above the $349.99 tag so I checked on the locate an item scanner thing. That showed it as $244.xx so I bought it. The other target I went to had tons of clearance, I was in a hurry though so I didn't get a great look. Though I remember (all 360) Lego Stars for $4.98, Shaun White Snowboarding for $10.48, Star Wars TFU $13.98, Cars Race o Rama $9.98, and Planet 31 $12.48. I am hoping to go back there later tonight and get some of that stuff.
 
My Local Target is clearencing a crazy amount of stuff (Voorhees, NJ)

DEMON SOULS 41.xx (I picked up 1, there were 4 other copies)
Beatles Rock Band band set 139.xx (360), Band Hero complete 139.xx (PS3)
About 200 DS games, all at 13.xx (Hotel Dusk, FF3, GI-Joe, ect.)
Personal Trainer Walking and Guitar Hero on tour double packs for 20.xx

I asked an employee about all the clearance stuff, and was told that they were going to be trying to clear a ton of stock for the new year.
 
Target on South Dale Mabry, Tampa (one that is on the 2nd story, on top of a grocery store) had two copies of Saints Row 2 (PS3) for $7.48 a piece. I grabbed one.

The location on Gandy had about 40 (not kidding, it was literally a mountain) copies of Terminator Salvation (PS3) for $13. Tons of DS and PS2 stuff I didn't bother looking through as well. Nothing for the 360 at either location :bomb:
 
Eh I've just about lost hope trying to get this PS3 clearance in South Jersey. I'm actually a bit dissapointed and in a bummy mood cause I got my hopes up :cry:

You'd think between 6 stores showing stock one of them would have one.... :bomb:

Wow, my Target at school doesn't even have a value games section anymore, they just put the remains of it in the glass case with Bionic Commando (only 360 game on clearance).
 
Can anyone even confirm that wario land shake it is even around $13 in arizona? Their website is claiming its is $24.99. I doubt those in store is going to mark it down for clearance.

It has 75% off potential. I got my PS3 Rock Band Special Edition for 75% off at Target. The Beatles edition has even less mass appeal than the Special Edition. Of course, they ordered a lot less of the Beatles Rock Band.

$12.50 for the last copy of Wario at my Target.

That coupon has been altered. This is coupon fraud if for no other reason than you deleted the expiration date. Like other types of fraud, that's not appropriate for discussion here.

Is there any way you can highlight the newest drops, perhaps in bold or yellow or something? Or maybe just highlighting the latest dates?

Also, anyone have the DCPI # for Wii Fit? Can't find it on the Target site...
 
i called all the stores in southern cali. only 1 long beach store had it but they said it was for 350. i think its all a conspiracy and the employees are buying them. some stores online said they had stock but when i called they said they were out.

Which version/color is the DSi everyone is seeing on clearance? Is it just the one with the five pre-loaded games from Christmas time?

Well I'm going to check Culver City since it's listed as "available" and not "limited availability". Even if I have to get a manager as well as Target corporate, they're going to find those fucking systems.
 
I found (and bought) 1 copy of The Conduit for $7.48 at the Target in Santa Ana on Grand (no more left). They had Sim City Creator for $7.48 to . I almost didn't even see the clearance stuff because its about 5 isles away from the games area.
