Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!​

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. ​

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks! ​

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.​

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:​
Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.​

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:​

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts. ​

Numbers in purple are DPCI #'s, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.​

fwiw I've been to three Targets today and every one has sfxt :ps3: in the plastic prison for 8.98. two of them didn't have them marked last week. still ymmv, but worth checking if you're really interested.

Went to My Local Target Today and found some new stuff on clearance

My store finally marked down their games to the prices everyone else had reported. We now have a clearance wall located on the aisle with the pc games. All the games were shelved with the spines showing. Haven't seen that it all my years, guess the end cap was just getting out of hand.

Finally picked up transformers dark of the moon. Might go back for SFxT, doubt it
 
Picked up :ps3: Move bundle with Move controller, PS eye, and Sports Champions, 29.98.

I was almost not going to get it. BestBuy's BF deal on the LBP2 bundle seemed a lot better for $10 more, but I passed because I already had that set. If the one I just bought came with the Nav controller I wouldn't have had the slightest bit of hesitation.
 
Saw SFxT for 11.98 on xbox 360 but no more ps3 versions floating around like I wanted. Already had the 360 version that I got from Gamefly. Going to go back tomorrow since I think our store clearances on Tuesdays instead of Mondays. If nothing tomorrow will check back next week, the lone copy of MGS is still in our store but has been marked as discontinued at Target.

I just got back from Target and the Medal of Honors are aplenty still but they dropped down to $5.98, I should have waited a week. But managed to pick up Street Fighter x Tekken XBOX 360 (unfortunately no PS3 version) and picked up Masters/Tiger Woods PGATour 2013 both for $11.98 and for PC, picked up the Sherlock Holmes 5 game collection for $5.98.

I did see the Uncharted 3 limited edition set dropped to $34.98 and the only thing left were Sony move games for $5.98 and the Zhu DS game for the same price.
 
Just got back from my local Target with Rayman(xbox 360)-$5.98 and the playstation move controller, camera, and game bundle(can't remember what game it is) for $29.98.

Found SFXT for PS3 at $8.98 like everyone else. This is the first decent game I've picked up at Target clearance since about this time last year.
 
Checking around 10 am tomorrow, that's about the time last time this lady was marking things down last time, checked earlier today to see what they had at my local store but just DJ Hero games for less then 10 dollars, SFxT for 360 for 11.98, and some PSP games that I had no interest in. Absolutely no Medal of Honor games left so I may of missed out on this clearance bargain everyone else was getting.

This game is AMAZING!!!!!!! Could have been on the top!!!!! And, I'm the kind of person who, usually, pushes buttons to skip through stuff. I watched this! If only they didn't do the DLC thing!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!! Just finished beating the Arcade mode. I, definitely, will have to play this on the hardest level.

sfxt is more fun that the fgc lets on, it's just a.) designed in such a way that lends itself to the longest, slowest, most boring fights with other humans and b.) has gems. The 2013 update should be out soonish which is aimed at making point a) better. I still like playing it either way.

I feel like Target Clearance hit the mother load these past couple weeks with the amount of games they have, but yet some good, some bad.... They still have BeyBlade: Metal Fusion DS copies out the ass (9.98), literally about 30 copies of it, lol.

sorry if stuff is doubled, i tend to take pics of all of the items, definitely easier and faster than writing them down or in the notepad on my phone. Then just upload them here later on or as I remember. Hopefully things look interesting, if not I'm sorry. It's nice to feel like I'm not wasting my time though and hopefully am helping out other people.

I saw one of these today and nearly peed myself. I was gonna wait on buying a Move but... nope, couldn't wait at $29.98.

One more of these is left at the Cool Springs location in TN, as well as a bundle with Start the Party also priced at $29.98. 207 24 0500 was the DCPI stuck on both packages, oddly enough.
 
I drove around today and checked a bunch of targets since they were on the way. Didn't find much of anything besides what people have been saying.

Found a target with two copies of AC3 collectors at full price, asked the guy working there if they were in line to be clearance'd and he said they rarely clearance collector editions out there. They still have copies of the Arkham Asylum CE in the back sitting around because they never clearance them.

Sounded like a load of shit to me, but he did show me the batman CE's so I dont know if its just my city or what, hah

Either take the clearance game to one of the scanners located in store and scan it, or note the DPCI number if it's in the plastic prison and manually enter it into the scanner. Unless you are asking how to find the clearance price if it's coming up out of the system/item not found. In that case, you need to find one of the employees with the hand scanner PDA, and have them scan it for the last known price and hope they will look it up for you and sell it to you for that price. I usually just take such items that ring up on the in store scanners as "item not found" up to a register in the front and offer to pay them a penny for it since when scanned the register says "what is the price on this item". That actually works sometimes. Usually though they decline and you can either pay the last known price or leave it.

Two out of the three Targets I used to check still don't have their electronic clearance sections back after Black Friday :/
 
I found one lonely Hitman Absolution Professional Edition for the XBX today at my Target for $39. The ticket said it was "online only", so maybe a return? It didn't show up on the price checker and the register clerk had to override. I'm happy with my score!

It's a good but short game. Think of a T rated God of War game with co-op. Easy 8-10 hour platinum/1000 GS. I'd recommend it at $10.

Also I saw a ton of :3ds: Amazing Spiderman for $12.48. I'd give it a go at 70% off.
 
Saw Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS) for $8.98 on Sunday. Looks like it's already on the list but the price was even lower at my local Target.
