Previous threads:

Target clearance is YMMV
Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction. Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 70% or 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, DCPI # and online item # in RED!!!

For example:

:ps3:
$4.98
123-45-6789 Random Game Name #12345678

DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself.

DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI #'s or Online Item #'s that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

New link to search for items using Target's online item #:

You can also take the DPCI # and search on Target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there.

(HUGE PROPS TO mitch079 FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL INFO!!!)

If you are having trouble with the above search here are more detailed directions:
Take the DPCI #s and search on target.com for an exact match and then use the store locator there. If there isn't an exact match, try googling Target and the DPCI #. For instance, on the 500 gb Seagate hard drive, it doesn't show up on the site. Google shows the online # as 13730271. Then, you can plug the online # in http://m.target.com/fiats/t- and put the online number after the - so the link would be: http://m.target.com/fiats/t-13730271. Hit enter, plug in your zip and it should work.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing in-store as often price tags will not be correct:

1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to BigDirty for that^

Regarding items posted in the OP:

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Numbers in purple are DPCI #'s, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Numbers in orange are online item #'s.

I am starting off this new thread going back to October 1st, 2012.
Please refer to the prior thread for any items before then.

THIS IS A WIKIFIED THREAD!!! IF YOU ARE ABLE TO, PLEASE UPDATE THE OP WHEN YOU REPORT DROPS USING THE APPROPRIATE FORMAT!!!

THANK YOU....

So, someone got 3 Wiimote +s for close to retail price, and someone else is a jerk. Sigh... was hoping to watch these drop.
Unrelated but did you happen to see anything for PS3? I picked up one of those PS3 black Friday bundles after being away from PS3 for a few years and am looking to get back into it.
Picked up ea sports active 2 (ps3) for $12 this morning.
FYI - servers are no longer live. You can't do any online features or plat the "game".

Bought this at Walmart a few months ago for $5 and returned it when I found out I couldn't finish the "game".

Edit: I think you also need 2 of those ankle monitors for something and box only comes with one. Don't remember for sure, look it up to confirm.

Well that kinda sucks. Anyone know if its worth playing for the offline features? And can anyone confirm or elaborate the two ankle monitor thing? I may just take it back if its not worth it.

I don't know about any ankle monitor but it does come with 1 monitor to put on your thigh. Why would they only include one if it requires two?!?!?!

I don't get the whole "complete the game" thing either. It's a workout guide. When you "complete" the game, are you fit and in shape and done with it?

My wife used it quite a bit and liked it. I never touched it. Kid's extra curricular activities ate up her free time to "finish" the game.

Thanks shadow, I'm thinking I may keep it. I don't care about the platinum and only really wanted it to try and get in shape (basically cardio). The reviews seem decent enough. Maybe you can answrr this for me. Are the online features important? is it just something that lets you workout with friends? (high scores or whatnot)

Honestly don't recall exactly but yeah, challenge your friends or something unimportant. There could be more, none of my expansive friends list was playing this for me to explore. Honestly was just too busy doing 12oz curls watching the wife in stretch pants...

Oddly enough, and not game related at all, I found the basic BD version of Goonies for $3 the other day. It was marked "as is" and was brand new and sealed and there wasn't a thing wrong with it. I didn't question it though.

I also saw a PS Move Bundle, game with only the one motion controller and camera, and it was $29.99. I would have bought it had it been the full bundle. It was some crap game, I don't even remember which one.

That blows... well I hate to say it, but you're gonna have some competition in a month. I'm moving up there for school. I'll be living like literally 5 minutes from West Chester Commons lol. Anyways we'll have to gather our forces. As far as Johnson City / Bristol TN/VA... SFxT $8.98. Sports same price. 3ds kingdom hearts $8.98

No way dude. Stay where you are. We got enough people cleaning out our targets over here. I would know, I'm one of them

Seriously though, I wish I could for a SFxT for PS3, been to 4 targets and haven't seen one yet.

Long time reader, first time poster. I was at target yesterday and got Metal Gear collections and Street fighter x tekken, both for 360, for 12.98 each. Also saw Dead rising off the records for 8.98

Ankle vs thigh. It was months ago, I got the wrong body part.

A lot of people, like myself, like to complete/plat games. I don't want a game/workout guide that is missing advertised features because the online servers were shutdown. I don't use my PS3 to work out, I go to the gym for that. My PS3 is used for games.

Found a few of these yesterday.

I've been looking for a cheap Move bundle for ages. Missed out on the LBP2 best buy bundle and my local target doesn't have any of these Sports Champions bundles either.

It comes with everything you need out of the box. Pretty decent workout program and decent tracking of your exercise. Recommended if you want a guide/virtual game to help you get in shape. Platting is just silly since the point is to get in shape not pad some virtual score. The workouts are YMMV. Meaning getting plat doesn't mean you'll be in shape necessarily, just done everything to unlock the achievements.

Try Radio Shack? I found a Sports Champions Move bundle there for $32 a few weeks ago.

thanks for the tip. I actually have a Radio Shack nearby (unlike Kmart )

Stop at my nearest Target yesterday. Picked up Street Fighter X Tekken for the PS3 for $8.98. Was really surprised, this is my first find in a long time at a Target.

I picked up a Link's Crossbow Training bundle for $7.48 about 2 weeks ago. It was my first clearance purchase at Target in a really long time so I was surprised to find a lone copy of Dead Rising 2: OTR 360 for $8.98 yesterday morning. I've been out of the loop on Target clearance so the price threw me off.

Pretty good haul at a store I dont visit normally:

:360: Metal Gear Solid HD Collection $6.04
:360: Grand Slam Tennis 2 $4.54
:ps3: London 2012 $7.54
:wii: Wii Play Motion Bundle $14.98

Went to look for MGS HD Collection, someone bought it yesterday. Oh well, seen a whole bunch of them at BB so maybe in the near future they'll have them on sale.

uDraw controller/game bundle for PS3 and 360 are 9.99. I guess that's regular price now (?) since it doesn't have the clearance "98" at the end.

I bought one of those move bundles for 70% off today. Sports game, medieval game, wand, and camera. Not sure if I am going to keep it though as I already bought the LBP2 bundle from BB on BF.

Just got back from Target. I was just there last week, and this week there was tons of new stuff out. Mass majority was shovelware, nothing too exciting. My girlfriend found some of the ds Mama games, so she was happy. Is there a particular day of the week they put new clearance stuff out?

It varies depending on the store, but the ones around my area typically put out new items/new drops on Mondays.
Let me get this straight. You guys just give the DCPI number to an employee and they'll find it in the back?
You can but it's kinda pointless since when clearance is pulled all product in the backroom gets pulled and won't have backroom locations anyways.

Scored a Halo CEA. Was marked $20.98 but rang up $8.98. Last one. It was not even in clearence section. It was mixed in with $19.99 games most Targets have.
