Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

anyone know if Target has easter candy on clearance anywhere and where it would be in the store? I just opened a pack of sweet tart gummy bunnies i had bought around easter and they're friggin delicous! i want more, but thats the only store i saw them at

oh and i see mention of a Hana montanta psp for 33 bucks? SERIOUSLY? thats insanely low, was that an error? I actually kinda wanted that psp just for the color. I like purple. Was that on the clearance rack or locked up somewhere?
 
You'd be lucky for any easter stuff to last more than a week, but I did get some Mighty Beans earlier this week for 30 cents.
 
I think my stores got rid of all the easter candy a few days ago, after a few days sitting at 75%/90% discounts. I picked up a few of those gummy bunnies for 25 cents each.

Yes, rarely. I picked up a couple copies of the shoot a while back that were still in the plastic prisons but were 75% off, just marked full price.

The Hana PSP is YMMV since different area/locations have different clearance prices. I could see it hitting $60-$80, but $33? That's crazy.
 
Not much in the way of video games at my store. There was a label that said $90.98 for the metallic silver DS Lite, but no actual handhelds. Asked a sales guy to check for it, but his scanner gun found nothing. First time I actually saw something on clearance get a price label.

Tons of those Sillybandz knock offs (or are they actually Sillybandz?) of Marvel characters and other big franchises for like $2 or $3. Saw Stratego for $10. Tempting, but the cover had like futuristic soldiers, so I was confused at what kind of Stratego I was getting into. Lots of first-gen iPad skins if that's your thing as well as iPhone 4 skins.
 
Went down to Portland today and on the way back to Seattle stopped at the Hazeldale, Wa Target around noon. They had 3 of those projectors on sale but at $80 each. Also had a couple copies of Star Wars Unleashed (not II) for the Wii, the Wii Sports pack and the DSi starter park for $10. And if you need them they had some TOMTOM car base's for $7.


Nothing for XBOX so I walked away sad

While no $33 PSP, I did find one of those 7" portable tv's that had gone on clearance a long time ago for $32.48. Don't know if it was a return or if it was found somewhere in store. It still had all the stcker seals intact

Had gone in to find an iPad case that I saw earlier in the week. Found it but was surprised to see the tv there. It was spider-wrapped and priced at $90 but wouldn't ring up. Manager was cool and sold it for the last price of 32.48

Also picked up a DS Lite poweremat adapter for 3.74. Now to get a charging pad.

i saw and almost bought DS Lite poweremat adapter for 7.25 last week but check for powermat base price it $100 it have $50 for me to buy it so i passed . btw yesterday i was there and powermat base is 20 bucks cheaper on sale
 
Basically every target in my area says just "available" for that hannah montana psp, so I figured it was not clearanced, but the 2 I stopped at could not find them. Can el hoardo do that with a psp? Aren't those usually still in the case?

My Target still had boxes of these in the $1 section at the front of the store. No discount but it's the only way you're getting them now.

Also sometimes in the summer certain stores carry Sweettarts gummie bugs I believe they were called. I saw them at Kmart a lot. And come valentines they have gummie hearts but they are just red and purple, no other flavors.

Today I bought a Coleman Queen Double High Airbed with built-in pump in Lynnwood, WA for $24.99. It was 75% off of $99.99. The DPCI is 091 13 0334. When I bought it today there were 2 other available.

I love buying clearance items from Target, especially when they are 75% off. In recent weeks I also bought the Jensen JDTV-430 4.3" TV, Targus external DVD writer, XBox 360 60 GB harddrive and TomTom 530s 5" GPS all at 75% off.

Gotta do some research to see if these adapters can be used with other mat chargers. It'd be nice if this would work with those wii controller chargers that are on clearance
 
hey everyone, last night i was in target and on their clearance endcap i found a copy of the tron:eek:riginal classic 2 disc dvd pack for $5.36 and the always sunny in Philadelphia 6-pack for $41.45. it was strange though. on the red tickets, instead of saying clearance, they said Online Only. has anyone ever seen this sorta thing before?

Yep. Most likely means they were online returns.
 
Just found Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light for 6.24 at the Target in Seven Corners, VA. I took the last one at that store, anyway.

I picked the last one up at my store but it was $12.48. :(
 
Went today and saw a couple of Sylvania 32" HDTV's marked down 15% to 299.98. If those drop down to 30-50%, it may be worth a buy.

Otherwise, saw a ton of stuff today in other sections, but nothing much in the electronics.
 
Target in Wa again had nothing. Only game on the clearance endcap was Camp Rock for the :ds: . They did have one of those projectors for $89 though.

No clearance for the DS lite (unless the boxes themselves have a different price tag). They've got AC and Uncharted 2 but they have no clearence sticker on them. :(

Found some :ps3: and xbox 360 games not locked up on a seperate shelf for $19.99 which seemed odd.

That's my target! And I was there around noon (but on Saturday) . I havent got anything there on clearence since maybe Oct/Nov of last year.

I saw these Toy Story 3 DSLite bundles last week, too. The console itself is crimson/black. I think the bundle just includes the console with a Toy Story-themed carrying case, but no game.

I think someone's stash was recovered by an employee. Bought Prototype :ps3: for $7.48.. scanned it and it said item not found. Was able to get an employee to let me buy it for the last price it dropped to before going out of the system (had absolutely no issues doing so). Street Fighter 4 :ps3: was apart of the same stash but the last price it was at was $20.98. Both games were stickered $20.98 lol.

Yeah every target I went to only had one copy of it so I bought it at $12.48. Figured it wouldn't stay there till 75% off. I checked one of the Targets again today and the copy that was at 30% off was sold.
 
bought one of those brightboxe projectors and quickly found out it was pos. Does target allow returns on clearance items?
Also does target do clearance on apple products wouldnt mind picking up an ipad if its cheap? :D

Also a regular PS2 slim popped up out of nowhere after being sold out for about a month and still scanned at $49.98. The seal was torn off so I guess it was a return.

^^^^ I scanned Monopoly Streets at my store and it was $39.99 :(. They took a ton of games, put them in indivudual cases and put them on an end...no clearance stickers though. Someone at my local store returned copies of Bayonetta, Trauma Team, and one other game...the problem is that now they're out of the system and the sticker price is only about 15% off!

I would imagine their contract with Apple wouldn't let them either.
 
No electronics finds today, but was able to pick up some various 75% clearance clothing items. Honestly its the only thing I've been able to pick up with the last Target runs.
 
Its like Target has caught on to us.. Next to the clearance end cap theres another one with a bunch of games on it. Most of its crap, but there are some games there that arn't in the front cases like Vanquish and Red Dead Nightmare... but they won't clearance them out!!

Saw the same thing, grabbed 2 copies to flip to gamestop for the L.A. Noire 2 for $50 deal.

I haven't seen jack squat at any local targets in the past month or so. Very disappointing. Then again, the summer months are usually a little dry. I'd pick up one of those NBA2k11's though. Might have to take a long lunch and take a trip to Rochester tomorrow.
