Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Hagerstown MD Target had Marvel ultimate Allainace for the PSP for 1.48 (couldn't belive the price). I bought them and flipped them at game stop for 9.60 each. Paid my Dragon age 2 off for 9.00. Sweet flip.:applause:

Same here. Fingers crossed they drop Monday. There were still at least 6-7 copies of each left.
 
Not a clearance deal but Shaun White Skateboarding was TPC'ed to 14.99. I saw only the PS3 version at my store. Heard the game got bad reviews though.

I picked up Trauma Team for $9.98. I got lucky since it's rare to find a game at 75% off on a Saturday of a drop week in my area. Every other clearance game was gone except for a copy of DJ Hero 360 at $19.98.
 
Picked up The Shoot for $9.99 yesterday at my local Target. There were a couple of copies left as well as 2-3 copies of Mel B game. The Fight: Lights Out Move games were sold out. The Shoot is an awesome Move game for under $10, and is well worth the price.
 
FYI indy area peeps... Checked out the Super Target @ 106th and Mich in Carmel and also the Nora Target and the 3 move games were still holdin strong @ 20 each. I'm gonna check the Fishers Super and Castleton regular tomorrow hoping that the typical drop day yields them for 10 each. If I ever find any for that price, I'm gonna pick up as many as possible frankly because Amazon TIV for the shoot and fight are 21 each. So, let me know if you want one, we can arrange somethin. That is, of course, the hope does happen.

So I was out of town visiting a friend getting lunch, when we decided to stop by a Target to look for edamame because we thought we could find them there for some odd reason. No beans, but I was able to pick up a Super Mario Puzzle! Also saw the Yahtzee, but decided to pass on that since I would never play it, although cool.
 
Went out to the Dunvale Target to get the Move games and all that was left was Get Fit w/ Mel B.

Damn you, El Hoardo! *shakes fist*

Because he comes in with a giftcard that has over 500 some in credit, buys 2 to 4 copies of the same strange game, like Guitar Hero Van Halen and Guitar Hero Aerosmith, and asks for gift receipts for everything. Add to the fact that he returns titles with the Target sticker still on then, and its easy to put two and two together.

And as for Wal-Mart catching on, it doesn't matter because when it comes down to it, Wal-Mart will do some stupid shit to make the customer happy, even when you know for sure they are ripping them off.

Example: I had to go to the service desk to check on a return of a 360 a few months back. This 360 had been cracked out, the innards of the elite taken out, and replaced with an old pro guts. We are talking like sans HDMI port old. They even had the 20gig HD, which was broken and grey instead of the black. I told them, and the managers, that there was something wrong with the system, and that we should not take it back. I explained what the customer had done, but because the customer through a fit about it, they still gave the customer their money back.
 
Look for Call of Duty Black Ops Prestigue edition, if your store has it chances are its $128. Look for it to drop either this week or next its been this price for about 3 weeks now.

I'll be on the lookout for the TFU2 since I need that steelbook for my collection. (just picked up a new TFU USE at Wally world for the collection a few weeks ago)

Don't know what your Target has working in terms of set-up, but at my target they had like a special bargains area where they had a display of PS3 touch games (this is where they had a bunch of Mario stuff too) So although I did not find much in the electronics section regarding clearance, I wondered over here and managed to find a copy of the shoot and that fighting game for $10.
 
Findings: Marvel vs Capcom 3 CE NOT sold out! Mel B, Shoot, Fighter $9.99 (I got them even though I don't have Move yet)! COD Black Ops did not drop, still $104... Also EA Active 2 is $49.99 but i think that will end up $25 though not many left!
 
Finally Halo LE goes on clearance, hopefully I can snag one at $20 but I may bite at $40. Also interested in TFU2 since I purchased that $1 DLC.
 
Checked one target today, was nothing new at all. Nothing marked down. Gonna try and hit up the one I usually go to later when the roads are more clear.

Shape Up with Mel B(not sure if thats the correct title, but its the Mel B fitness game) -$9.98
COD:Black Ops Prestige edition (the one with the race car) $129.99

These were located at the Target in Salisbury, MD. I purchased all the copies of The Fight and The Shoot at that location.

Salisbury, MD huh? That's my Target! So have I finally met the person who gobbles up all the good deals? I tend to think so if you said you bought "all the copies" of those games...or do you normally not buy up everything?

Now that you know you have another CAG in the area leave some of the goods man! I have a 360, PSP, and PC so I don't care what you do with Wii/PS3/DS stuff.

:( Sorry, but I am not the one who is gobbling up your good deals. This was the first time I have bought anything from their clearance section and I went a little crazy.

Next time if I see any good deals, I'll tell you. :)

Wow I honestly didn't realize there were so many people in Salisbury. I live there too, and check Target about twice a week for drops.

I will admit I snatched up a few of the Dragon Age Ultimate Editions for 360 when they were 7.48 -- but they were gifts.

If anyone else in the area's looking for Trauma Team, the Easton store had about 3 copies at 10 bucks.
 
Yeah we gotta work together, I'll make sure to post on here if I see stuff now that I know there's at least two other CAGs that frequent the store. I rarely (if ever) buy anything for flipping so you really don't have to worry about me.

So YOU are the reason I didn't see any of those lol? In fact I was just there a few days ago and they had (at least) one left but it was in the case and marked full price. Did they go back up to full price or is it in the wrong spot? I'll have to have them ring it up. I already beat it but wanted to go back and beat it again since DA II is coming out, and since I won't be getting that at launch it'll ease the wait.

I go to the Easton store sometimes too if I'm bored, as well as the Dover store. I was just at Dover and there was nothing, a few Bayonetta's and WoW: C.

I'm not sure about the price going back up -- I noticed that, too. The UE was no doubt the best find I've gotten at Target. My past buys have been lackluster...that terrible paintball game, Iron Man 2 (it was 5 bucks cut me some slack), etc. I only really play 360, so that's usually all I'm ever on the look out for.

If you do find anything good at the Salisbury store, don't be afraid to stop into the Gamestop right by it and share the info. I usually pick up some extra money working nights there (and doing this boring desk job by day). I'll return the favor with some discounts and free stuff that's usually not very cool.
 
Fishers and Castleton Targets had all 3 move games for 9.99. Picked up a few of each. Anyone who wants one in an area that doesn't have this price yet and wants one, let me know. We can work somethin out for minimal cost.
 
So it looks like COD Black Ops PE is staying at 104 this week.... Meh. :( Any of you got Mario chess below $19.xx and Yahtzz below 3.xx and Monopoly below 7.xx?

To anyone that finds an extra Mario Yahtzee, I will gladly pay $15-ish (maybe a lil more, depending on how much it costs to ship) shipped for it, unless you want something from my trade list in exchange.

I've been watching the Halo Reach LE for awhile at my store, it's sat in the aisle for months without anyone giving a crap. Glad to see it finally going on clearance.

Will do, I don't go into that one as much anymore since I usually have my two boys with me (2m and 1y). I usually just hit up the mall GS since it's a lot easier and I can get a few other things done at the same time.

One thing I've noticed about our Target though is people jump on clearance stuff WAY too early. I've also noticed that they'll pull a lot of stuff and then put it back out later, which is annoying (although not exclusive to ours).
 
North Stafford, VA store had copies of Black Ops PE for $104 for PS3 and 360.
Naughty Bear for $14.98 for 360.

If you're willing to pay that much, amazon has them for ~$12. They were only $15 full price.

Well Dover did have those PS3 Move games for $9.98 this morning.
