Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Bought Create for PS3 at $9.xx but now after seeing bad reviews I'm going to probably return it. I also got Rock Band 3 for DS for $2.xx which I thought was a good deal.

You can try, but all the customer service reps here know that they dont price match on their clearance items. If you find another just buy that one and return one with the old receipt.

Thx, did just that, although I was trying to find a Tritton headset since a lot of people are saying it's the better one, and it's only $15 but no dice here
 
Saw an X11 headset here, but no-one to scan it, since it was on one of those security bracket thingies that you cant remove. (And i had to get back to class
 
I'm gonna check for the Tritton's at a few Target's on my way home from work tonight. Last time I saw them they were marked $29.88. If I can get them for $15, I will pick them up in a heartbeat for the PS3. I got the TB X11's when they were on sale for $40 at Target a few weeks ago and it changed gaming for me. Now I need something for the PS3. Wish me luck!
 
Haven't been able to track down X11's on clearance yet, but if I get these and pick up the Ear Force DSS, these headphones should work (audio and chat) on both 360 and PS3, right?

Base $6 TiV at BBY. after 50% bonus and extra 10% for unlocked it comes to $9.60. After tax about a 80-85% ROI.

fyi just read about the new wii console on joystiq, and they said this new bundle will launch along side the Mario Kart Wii bundle so no clearance on those old ones, unless you're talking about the non bundle version
 
Only saw Ghostbusters (7.xx) for Wii in my Target store, and a DS mystery game (9.xx). I forgot what's it called. I did grab a Maxtor 320 GB external hard drive for about 20 bucks.
 
Went to a Target in North Hollywood and found a bunch of Xbox 360 transfer cables for $4.98 was $19.99.

Also some Wii Duracell controller chargers for $7.48 was $29.99.

Went back to my local store last night and sure enough the Trittons went from $41 to $15. Grabbed a pair and returned the ones I purchased a month ago for $42.

Also, last Thursday there were at least 30 Garmin GPS on the clearance end cap. I went in Monday night and there was only one left, a 3750T for $169.
 
anyone knows if the duracell xbox charger had another pricedrop? I bought for 19.9x last week, and I would like to price adjust, but don;t want to waste gas, since my target is kind of far away.,

They did at my stores. Whether they did at yours, I don't know. Worth a try.
 
Grabbed the last Tritton 180s at 14.98, and a Wii psyclone/duracell charger for 7.48. My problem lies with the Tritton. The box was open but I took the chance since it's the last one they had. It works fine, about what I expected, but it's missing the PS3 RCA cable. Works fine on the 360, which is what I game on mainly. My dilemma is, I went to two other targets with it now, and it seems they're all gone, so I may not be able to exchange this. Anyone know if I can get a replacement cable from the mfg, or do I have to pay for that? Waiting weeks and weeks is no big deal for shipping. It's like, on one hand I feel I got a good deal on a 360 headset, but on the other hand, the CAG in me feels like I got super short-changed on something that I can only use for half it's potential.

Which cable are you talking about? The 3.5mm female to rca (red/white) adapter? You need that for xbox 360 too so I don't know how you hooked it up to your xbox.

Not sure if this is a YMMV but I just picked up a DJ Hero 2/Turntable bundle for $19.99. Bought it for 360 but they did have PS3. I missed out on the TRU deals over the summer & $20 isn't a bad price.

Since it ends in .99 I thought it might be a universal drop. It says through 10/29 on the tag. The website is still at full price

I also noticed a Guitar Hero Bundle for like $39.99.
 
My store had like 6 of the Tritton headsets on Monday at 41.98 and on Tuesday they were all gone? I find it hard to believe they sold them since they been on the clearance rack for weeks

You can probably buy another one at the cheaper price and return the old one, but at this point it's pretty hard to find those Tritton headsets.
 
All my targets are oos for the Triton!! I wanted them at $15 too.. I've never even seen these in stores.. If someone have an extra one they don't want, I'd love to trade you or buy them off from you.
 
I was a bad CAG and picked up a pair of the Tritton's a few weeks ago @ $41, but honestly, if I hadn't, I wouldn't have gotten them, and I have been quite happy so far with my purchase. We'll see how they hold up in the long run.

I've got an elite model hooked up with an hdmi, and it came with the audio dongle. My headset hooks into that audio adapter with a pink/green cable. I don't see any way to hook it up to the ps3, though, as it shows an extra rca cable in the instructions under the package contents, and that is what is missing.

Edit - apparently I have it hooked up wrong with the xbox too, but it works the way I did anyway. I should need that cable for both, you're right. I'll look around to exchange this thing, or try and get one sent to me from the company, but I doubt it.

Got some Trittons. Not bad for $15. Have to get the volume dialed in, because sometimes the bass is too much. Lucked out. We have HDMI, but have some Bose connected via RCA that I can switch from speakers to Headset when needed.
 
So I have two questions:

1) Which is the better buy, Tritton 180s for $15 or Turtle Beach Earforce X11 for $30?
2) Which is the better headset of the two, price nonwithstanding?

Saw a Turtle Beach X11 pop up at my local target for 30% off right now, I doubt I'd be able to pick it up at 75% off, it'll probably fly off the shelf right now at this price.
 
Dose anyone know if Target discontinued game mark downs. My store hasn't had any new items in nearly a month and the end cap they used to be on was removed. The games were put back into the normal section and now there is a ton of temporairy markdown sighns instead?? Just wondering if anyone had a clue??
 
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock and DJ Hero 2 for Xbox 360 are on sale for $9.99 as of today. I didn't check for any other versions, but I assume they are on sale too.

FWIW, I picked the Tritton's up first, then the X11's and went with the X11's. Personal opinion, richer sound, fit better and felt sturdier. My wife preferred the Trittons, which seemed to do a better job containing the sound as she reads in the same room.
 
I couldn't find the Trittons at any of my local Targets. I have one more I can check tonight. I did pick up another set of X11's for $29.98. I will return the ones I bought on sale a couple of weeks ago for $39.99.
