Some notes
  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.
On Xbox One, Gold trials of any length work for sales and Games with Gold.  You must be an active Gold subscriber (paid or trial) to play Games with Gold purchases.
  • On Xbox 360, you must have at least a 1 month Gold subscription for sales and Games with Gold.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.

I'm genuinely interested in March's offerings, especially because I own none of these! Almost grabbed 'Quantum Conundrum' several times and have heard great things about 'SUPERHOT'. 'Trials of the Blood Dragon' is a fantastic mashup.

Jury is out for 'Brave'

Trials of the Blood Dragon???  Has anyone even heard of this before?  Achievements don't look too bad (ignoring the few for getting "A" grade on the levels).

I can see myself playing all 4 of these games.  Eventually.

I Heard the game was ass because it had stupid stealth sequences and terrible jet pack controls and just doesn't do justice to either franchise. But it's free so...

It’s basically a mashup of the Trials motorbike games and Farcry Blood Dragon

I don't own any of these games on Xbox, though I've played SUPERHOT on PC.  SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years.

Am I the only one completely dumbfounded at the Farming Simulator 17 bundle pricing? Not only is the platinum edition more expensive than buying the game and platinum expansion separately, the premium edition completely crushes all of them in regards to value by including everything and then some at a much cheaper price.

I know this happens on occasion with other games but I've never seen it be this drastic.

Vanquish! Awesome! Think I bought that on sale as well. Been wanting to play it.

So Burnout Paradise Remastered is out March 16th. Still wish we could get a new game. And still wish Burnout Revenge was the one getting remastered (or at least BC).

They’re really scraping bottom of the barrel with Brave.

At least Quantum Conundrum is a good game for those of you who haven’t played it.

I'm always happy to see more Sega stuff go BC, we have most of it but still a lot of titles I wouldn't mind like the Outrun arcade and Virtua Tennis.

VANQUISH! Granted I hope we still get the enhanced PC port down the road. 4k/60fps goodness.

Very meh GWG month but I own 0 of those games so that's a huge plus. I heard a lot of good things about Superhot though.

That's great news to have vanquish go BC today and everyone who likes shooters or slowing down time like max Payne should try this.Beware that obtaining 1000gs is very difficult as it has 8 or 9 challenge rooms where they're swarms of enemies all around you and you have to kill them all.It will truly test your skills in shooting and reaction.

I'm not actually not that surprised with some of the GWG offerings. Guessing the idea is for people to focus on SoT once it comes out in a month and give little to no thoughts to the free games.

Pretty sure they did the same when Halo 5 and Gears 4 came out.

Half of you complaing about Brave are looking up to see if the achievements are easy, admit it.

Stoked for Superhot, almost bought it last time it was on sale.

Brave didn't look that bad when watching my wife play. Of course its a ton of platforming and puzzles, but the combat looked decent enough using both joysticks. Left to move Merida (Meredith?) and the right stick to aim the infamous bow.

I've had an unredeemed code for this game for a long time. I'd probably be potato at it but they keep adding cool things to it so I might have to redeem it.

Is there a non-competitive mode where you can just flip and tumble around an empty arena? :D

Yeah, there is training mode. You can also play against AI. You can change their difficulty levels, too, so you can focus on learning or doing the fun stuff. ;)

Also custom games mode if you want to play or fool around with friends.

Man... finally booted up Dark Void after much anticipation.  Been wanting to play for years now.  Enjoyed the opening sequence getting used to the flight mechanics... and then I couldn't help but feel like I was playing Turok: Dinosaur Hunter on my N64 graphicswise once I started the first level.  Barf.

Oh man I cannot wait to play through Burnout Paradise again on the X. Like others I wish some of the other Burnout titles would've gotten the treatment first, but this game is still a blast. Just driving around finding all the gates and billboards will keep me occupied for hours on end.

Nah, they did the same thing with the pricing last time it was on sale. I had to look at it for a few minutes to make sure I was reading it right. Like you said, most times the prices are fairly similar, but this discrepancy is huge. Still can't convince myself to buy it, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to go with the premium

Yeah I'm oddly intrigued and after doing a little research would probably go with this over The Sims when it comes to a change of pace style of game.

Yeah baby, love that Vanquish is BC now! Glad I picked up a physical copy from GS some time ago. Would be sweet to have Binary Domain go BC too. Definitely in for Burnout Paradise Remastered on both systems as well.

Some of the bad reviews are justified, some aren't. It's a blast if you're a fan of the combat in the Saint's Row games. It's top notch and there's a lot of it. The problem comes with the fact that it wants to be grindy like an RPG, but doesn't have enough content to grind without losing your mind. I slowly chipped away at the game over time and loved it, but if your objective is to knock out the game in a week, I can see it being monotonous quickly. The price is right.

From the very little that I've played of it, it's a Minecraft sidescroller. It has bosses and other elements of actual classic sidescrollers, but heavy on the mining and building.

I never made it past the tutorial. Once it started asking me to gather resources to build a thing, I shut it off. Not my bag.

Kinda like a 2d minecraft

If you don't have GamePass, I would wait for a sale on the game. It's been as low as $6 in the past. If you have GamePass, you should give it a try. They just released a massive update to the game that makes it comparable to the PC version 1.3.0.7, but beware there are a few bugs that still need to be ironed out.

Don't listen to the 2 people that probably put in under an hour of playtime. It it is not just a "2D Minecraft". If anything it's closer to a Metroidvania then it is Minecraft, collecting loot and getting further along to other areas as you and your gear progress. There is so much content in the game it will make your head spin. Bosses. Tons and tons of weapons, swords, bows, magic, etc. Sets and sets of armors, pets, rare drops. A whole bunch of stuff that is not even remotely possible in Minecraft.
Thank you for the replys and input. Appreciate it.

Brave is the only game in march I don't own. Not complaining, while there are other games I'd like free over this the kids movie games I've played have been good games for in between bigger stuff. Just beat Disney Infinity 2 as a buffer between AC origins and Far Cry Primal.

Pumped on Vanquish being BC. It was a top 2 BC want for me with Saboteur.

Vanquish WAS in my top 5 along with Remember Me, Binary Domain, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Mortal Kombat 9. With Vanquish off the list, I guess Ghost Recon Future Soldier will take its place

So I guess if we get a free month of Access for gifting DLC for EA games, I might gift myself that Speedcross expansion for NFS Payback. Anyone play it have opinions on if it is worth it?

Hey if anyone is a GameStop elite member they have a 4/$10 going online which comes out to $1.50 for games that are $4.99 or less. If you snag 8 it qualiffies for free shipping so 8/$12.
Anyways my point is Vanquish is there along with all Mass Effects, and a slew of games that are or will be backwards compatible......
