I preordered this earlier today for Xbox 360 and just got a $5 credit referencing the order number (which was SSFIV and nothing else)...
...oh just fully read the e-mail, it's for TV shows on demand, nevermind not as happy as I was. Pretty sure they'll just use anything as an excuse to...
Okay thank you then. I would guess my account was closed before it could be credited, as I never received any such thing. That's pretty promising, I guess, since it would mean no one was able to spend the credit I was supposed to have, since they had nowhere to put it....
Responding to myself because I just found out that apparently my account was phished/hacked. Pretty unusual as I am very keen to phishing schemes and know I haven't acted on any e-mail asking me to update my account information or any of that crap. Regardless, my account is now closed.
So I...
Am I supposed to get an e-mail stating that my account has been credited? I got an e-mail with a promo code, but nothing saying they got my games or they were accepted or anything.
On another note, I also can't log in to my account anymore....I KNOW my password is right, and their password...
Underhanded Wal-Mart tactics do not surprise me.
But also, neither does the stupidity and ignorance of EBGames employees.
I'm going to go ahead and chalk the statement up to the latter.
So, like...is there a real source anywhere? IGN, Gamespot, G-AF, battle.net...all devoid of any sort of mention? Don't get me wrong, I'd be absolutely thrilled, but...can't get my hopes up yet :(
I don't know if there are any safer ways of going about it, but I do know that using PayPal as payment means for a virtual item is pretty much a sure-fire way of assuring you get ripped off.
Well I'm jealous :(.
While you're there, go to Gamer's Vision (Not even sure if that's in Tokyo, but it is in Japan. Surely you can find it!) and own up the regulars in 3rd Strike.
You can do it.
Or not.
This..is a rather random contest.
That said, personally I can't wait. WWE quality was always better on USA. Though that is mostly because of the writers...maybe they'll just..write better now?
Anyone who had a Spun.com order cancelled get their money refunded yet? I purchased with a bank debit card, which might have something to do with it, but right now I have yet to receive a refund for my $97 order or the $97 hold they put on my money for authorization or whathave you.
Kinda pissed right now. First they charge my order twice, for their verification charge or whatever. At first this is fine, I can deal with not having an extra $97 for a few days if I get my items. And now my order is cancelled? And neither my money for the order or the extra fee ($180+!)...
Not everyone has spare dual-jewel cases lying around, I used my last one when I auctioned one of my copies of VP.
And I say 145. Do I get a prize if I'm right?
