I've found that using the sticky side of duct tape to pull the adhesive off of the case generally gets all of that crap off. Just roll some duct tape around 2 or 3 of your fingers, sticky side out, and repeatedly press it against the part of the case that's covered in adhesive to pull it right off.
Thanks for the heads up on this, Masterkyo. I picked up a copy to complement the DW7 that I just ordered from Newegg. There were still a couple more copies of XL left at the Park Lane store in Dallas as of yesterday.
If you can actually manage to find a Gamestop that has it in stock they sell it for $20 used. After several months of checking availability via store locator and a one-hour drive, I actually managed to pick up a complete copy in excellent shape for $20. :D
I found an Ignitor, Zook, and Lightning Rod at the Movie Trading Co. at Belt Line and Preston in Dallas. These were all in the locked display case that usually houses the vintage console displays. I was surprised to see all three together like that since I'd given up on trying to track them down...
The Zook/Cynder/LR triple pack was in stock for a moment; threw that bad boy in the cart, but got sidetracked with work for a couple of minutes during checkout only to find it sold out. Stupid job, inhibiting my ability to buy stuff! :P
I was in Best Buy today and saw that the Record of Agarest War Zero LE for PS3 had dropped to $39.99. It's not listed on their site anymore, but according to an employee it's a permanent price drop.
Stopped by a couple of TRU locations in the Dallas area today. Picked up Stump Smash, Stealth Elf, and Bash. Plenty of Drobot and Drill Sergeant in stock as well, but I passed. Didn't see any of the new figures, but it seems those sold out shortly after open today so that's not surprising.
I managed to price match this at Fry's, getting not only the original cover art but the first-run preorder version with the additional art book and soundtrack CD. They had a couple of those bundled versions behind the standalone versions - specifically, the Fry's in Plano, TX had one more...
