If it says free and you get charged, you can always dispute the charges with Apple. I have had 2 disputes, and they fixed them pretty quickly within a day or 2, and credited me back.

The issue with Chicktionary for me is that there are like 12 or 13 DLC all at $0.99 making it an extremely expensive app. Although the game that is being offered free is not bad.

I picked it up on pre-order when it was this price, with the ECA discount was $20.01... I figure a great price, even when it goes on a lightnening deal at Amazon, it will likely only drop to $19.99 and even though I am a true CAG, I figure for a few extra months of gaming, I can live with paying...

When you first sign on to the beta - it specifically says that everything that you accumulate goes away once the beta is over - so - might be worth getting, but I think that it will all go away once the open beta or final version comes out.
