I wasn't really talking trash about the post but rather the store trying to "give you a deal". Seems like they're trying to rip people off that don't know better. I can see how it didn't sound like that though.
They always send emails saying the item is backordered on preorders and give you the option of canceling if you want. I don't think that qualifies as trying to get you to cancel.
I recieved my Kingdom Under Fire preorder yesterday. :) I didn't bother with GTA though. Just for future reference all pre-orders are listed as backordered at Outpost.
Wow, that's quite a wait. My original order was due to ship today but I changed the video card and it's supposed to ship by 11/5. I wonder why there's such a delay with your order?
I didn't even think to find it that way. It's a good thing because everything I read about the Go5200 was pretty negative. Not sure how big a step up the Radeon 9600 is but I'm sure it's the better buy. That's the trouble when your buying a computer and you don't know that much about...
I just got an email from Dell telling me they made the change I requested on my Video Card mistake. :D It's funny because when I called a customer rep told me they couldn't do it and when I went through the website order change they seemed to have no problem fixing it. Anyways, thanks for all...
I just called customer service and they weren't much help. I was told that since I financed it that no changes can be made to the order. The only thing I could do was to cancel it and make another order. When I told her that the rebate code that I used no longer works so I can't make another...
Yeah. I'll have to do that. I was just going to use their change order form but it's no use without the Product code and SKU. I'll guess I'll just have to take care of it over the phone. Thanks for your help.
I could really use some help here guys. I made a mistake somehow when selecting my videocard and somehow failed to notice it until now. I want to change it to the Radeon 9600, which I thought I selected, but I need the Product code and the SKU # for the Radeon 9600. If anyone that has that info...
Trust me I know nothing about computers but I did just read the Inspiron 9100 review somewhere and they recommended the Wsxga. I suggest you google some reviews on the computer your interested in.
