Yes, I totally agree. Buying these without seals is very risky post launch. I have rejected plenty of systems at retailers before, because you can clearly see that the seals have been tampered with...fingernail marks, half-peeled seals, etc. There have been times where I've bought clearanced...

So, forgive me if this has already been asked, but does this "Buy 1 Get 1 40% Off" sale replace the better "Buy 2 Get 1 FREE" sale from years past in October?  It seems like TRU's sales and deals are getting weaker.  This is even a step down from the "Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off."

The first store I tried this at said if I was price matching, I could not use the $20 off coupon or enter the Mperks; I had to choose either or.  I politely declined and drove 5 minutes to another Meijer. This store said that if I was price matching, I could not get the free Paper Mario game...

Can someone respond to this thread if they actually get Meijer to price match, give them the free game, AND take $20 off?   Most retailers would not price match, as after the $20 savings and free $40 game, Meijer is the better deal to boot.

Are you sure your Walmart is still accepting pre-orders? I called a couple in the more rural areas, and they said the program was done nation-wide and that the system says "Do not sell" if a pre-order is scanned in.

Couldn't agree with you more. It's a terrible situation to be in; Kmart/Sears is so far into decay/neglect that it's next to impossible to fix themselves without a huge cash reserve. My thoughts are yours. They're going to have to shutter more stores and invest the assets into the stronger...
