Well that sucks. Why did they change to PSP? Seems ridiculous that I won't be able to play the sequel to one of my favorite games this generation without buying a new system.

Any word on releasing VCII on PS3? I loved the first one but have no interest in a portable gaming system.

I see your point, but if you look at the details of the patch, you will find that there is not much that will make the guide outdated. My main problems with the guide, especially as a fighting game noob, is it's complexity (as explained ad nauseum on here) and the fact that guides just don't...

Can someone talk me through the advantages of having this layout over a TE fightstick for MK? I guess what I'm asking is, if I'm not a diehard MK fan, is there any reason for me to get the MK layout if I already have a TE?

I LOVED Bioshock, but couldn't get more than ~1:00 into this game. They streamlined the plasmids for the better, but the story was much less interesting, the environments were pretty much the same, your character is slow and clunky as hell, and you're the pussiest Big Daddy that ever existed...

Worth noting that it's also trading in for over $30 right now. If you can get it and beat it in a reasonably short time you could potentially turn this around for only a few $ net.

Wow - thanks for the reply. That could be the case, but I had several titles I was interested in during a December sale (NFS: HP, Dead Rising 2, Vanquish) all of which were more expensive during this most recent sale than back in December or right now. That means that the prices for all 3...

Shame - they clearly pumped their prices for this. Vanquish is $27 now that the sale is over and was $33 during it. I hate when they do crap like that.

It's not that hard. There were only a couple of missions that I had to re-do in order to pass, for whatever that's worth. There are definitely reasons to not like this particular game or genre, but I definitely wouldn't pass because of the difficulty.

It's a bitchin game if you like strategy games at all. If you go way back, there was a game on PC called Incubation which could be considered the first full 3D turn-based strategy game. VC seems like a spiritual successor in many ways. I just went through my library and realized that I sold...

FYI the game is crazy easy. It's not at all hard to get through the game without dying a single time.

I've read this thread twice and am still confused. If I don't buy the CE from THQ and get it on steam, I cannot immediately play all of the races or I miss out on some exclusive wargear (or both)? The former is a big deal, the latter not so much.

We will have to agree to disagree then - it's always good to have dissenting opinions. FWIW though, critics/press have often said that this is one of the greatest games of all time. In this case, you're in the minority (like I am with anything Rockstar produces).
