I'm pretty sure the TRU I went to had the PS2 slims on brown clearance, original price $99.99.

First Target I did one preorder and some groceries, nothing.  Second one I had two of the preorder cards and one of the koozies and a few other random things...koozie triggered the coupon before the preorders were scanned.

YMMV of course, but I found an online item return of the Neo Geo X Gold set for $139.96 yesterday. Sealed and box is in good shape. Anyone looking for one on the cheap might want to check it out.

The Best Buy in Kingston, NY has two of these available...they're up on one of those high storage shelves, so they're in relatively good shape compared to what's usually in-store.

Yep, the game will still get marked down, since the price drops happen on the product database, the price tag just won't reflect the drop, but the price scanners will.

I sent mine off around 12/17, and today in the mailbox my replacement cartridge was finally there. Not very well packaged (it was just the game card in an envelope), but it did come with a pack of KOF 00/01 cards and a letter, so I'd guess these are finally on their way to everyone...

I saw quite a few of these out on display (probably 30-40 copies) at my local Target today, priced with the red clearance tag at $29.50. I'm still debating it....a bit burnt out on the series, yet the collector scum in me is easily tempted...

I don't know if it's just a local thing, but my CompUSA is doing the same promotion: Free CoD3 with CoD4. Also 20% off any Xbox 360 accessory with purchase. Given they're not listing an in-store date until Wednesday, I'm going to go for Circuit City, but still might be worth it for some.

My local Target had one of these for, yes, $4.98. Needless to say I grabbed it. No complaints so far.

I've seen it (and bought it) at this price as well in Latham NY. Interestingly they had the Art of Fighting Anthology as well, for $14.99. Surprised since that's the older title, but oh well. Still a great deal.

I don't really know the specifics, but I did do an informal count of my previous/current gen stuff (PS2, GC, Xbox, 360, Wii) and found that in almost 75% of cases I spent $15 or less, which isn't too bad.
