I have to say, I'm honestly pretty excited about this game. I know I'll enjoy it (having played through TTYD a couple times), and I think it'll be a game that my wife'll get into as well. She's always had a thing for Mario games. Hell, she even beat NSMB before I did. :P

I picked it up when it came out, played it up through the first few levels. My wife, on the other hand, started playing it, fell in love with it and went through the main game in about 15 hours. She's working through all the side stuff now. :P

I'm sure that she had to sign some kind of waiver stating that the radio station has no legal liability in the event of death during a contest. Still, I feel bad for the kids. They are the ones who are going to lose the most out of this.

Component cables do not only work on HDTV sets. They will work on any set that has the component imputs for them. Component cables, depending on how good your eyes are ;), can provide more picture clarity/quality than composite cables can, partially due to the fact that component cables...

I noticed something similar to what you're describing, ckendal, the first time i loaded up the game. However, the following times I've played SSG, it did not occur.

Wow, now that's a nice setup, if nothing more than for the perfect Wii Bowling emulation. ;)

so far i've had the best success in the HR Derby.... 8HR - 4298ft in distance. Still working on the bowling. ;)

Glad to hear you're enjoying it! I have to say, for me, personally, I enjoy seeing the Mii's that everyone has created, and watching my 2 year old beat the crap out of someone in WiiBoxing.

My tv that will be used the majority of the time for the Wii supports 720p.

I've got it, and I've played it for about half an hour. Only reason why it's been so little is because I've been trying to choose the control scheme and the sensitivity that I like the best. You have the ability to choose between 4 or 5 different control schemes, from one similar to Excite...
