This game is tremendous, easily the best Wipeout since XL. I did put together a post on the dangers of the hype train, though, because I can't keep my eyes off of the fucking gray sky in zone mode. ;) Totally great game, though, one of the best on PSN yet.

To me, it felt completely manufactured and even though I was interested in the story, the whole thing felt like I was at a blockbuster movie which had been pieced together to appeal to everyone and ended up feeling completely flat. IE: fuck this game.

Did an entry on the backlash and I'm shooting it over to the industry guys I know at EA, MS and elsewhere to try and chip away, eventually they'll see the sane side of the fight. I definitely support this backlash because it's not affecting sales too badly...yet. :)
