Wow, that article is shit. People waiting for 10/1 were doing it "the right way?" Anyone can sign up for VIP. It's not paid or exclusive. Whoever wrote that crap just took a Lego statement and piled a bunch of assumptions on top of it.

Yes, Target, Walmart, and TRU all carry them online. Amazon usually as well. TRU is the only one that sometimes has them in store (and not usually).

I always assumed if I ever got a UCS Falcon, it would go into a coffee table. The one posted looks nice but the top being 100% glass scares me a little.

My hot take: the new Falcon will be available for at least five years and eventually see discounts. It will be in great supply. There is no reason to buy it anytime soon for full price unless you have the money and are looking to make a luxury purchase. From a Lego perspective, sure, good set...

I don't understand the workforce reduction at all - Lego is still super profitable. But I agree that there are way too many sets. It's crazy. Some sets just don't have any business existing relative to all the other Lego product available.

I tried both on wifi and LTE and got the same result. But that app does get quirky in the store on wifi. It changes the "At Your Store" header to "In This Store" and won't let you see prices from other stores. You can select another store as preferred, but it will only show you prices from the...

Anyone else finding that the Walmart app is now restricting search results to nearby stores? You can still pick any store you want, but when you check nearby availability it only shows five stores, not all of them. Is there a setting I'm missing?

This time last year it was $75 at some Walmarts. It and a $35 TIE Fighter got me into Star Wars Legos. It'll probably be $75 again after Christmas. It's from TFA and will probably be sufficient for TLJ. But the next movie is the Han Solo one and they'll probably refresh it or just yank it...

Ah, Target. My lowest price around here is $70 (and those sold out). I don't check Target too often since it's such a pain to browse across multiple stores.
