Holy shit
I went back to see how much it originally cost and noticed 94% were sold!!!!
Luckily I hit the button to order :p

Did not expect it to sell so quickly, curious as to how many are waiting for Star Ocean IV lol
 
I just canceled the order on ToV(I'm sure it is a great game), gonna save the rest of my money for the buy 2 get 1 free sale at gamestop to pick up some older ds games, and wait for the holiday steam deal. These forums do nothing but feed my video game addiction :), goodnight guys and gals.
 
I went ahead and bought Tales of Vesparia at $14.98 also. I missed it when it was the Video Game Deal of the Day, so I look forward to playing this.

I asked the same question a couple pages back.

As I was told, you can choose to change payment method, and then switch from the credit to a card.

Unfortunately it appears that doing that takes off ALL of the discount, so you lose the sale price.

Bummer eh?

My credit has kept me from purchasing two games so far... :(
 
had it in my cart but im throwing it back--considered it but i can get a cool ass hoodie at Ecko.com for $15. you get %40 off on stacked on top of clearance item. the sales only today-just throwing out there if someone wants to check it out includes starwars hoodies/apparel not sure about the halo ones-

all my money is going on games wich isnt bad at all but i do need some freakin clothes--

Have ToV and Midnight Club LA in my cart. Damnit why must I be conflicted over whether I actually want to purchase them or not. Neither one appeals to me much but the prices are so tempting.
 
Yay, first deal of the holiday season for me... $15 Vesperia. I even had some filler ready to go predicting the price point. Could turn out as well as it did last year.

What's the reasoning behind wanting to save the $10 GC? Isn't $10 now the same as $10 later or is there some sort of an advantage to using the credit a different time?

dude dont let that happen---buy the item copy the lightning deal price on you purchase page after buying it---just go back a few pages once you make your purchase copy it and write a letter to amazons customer help--show them you got in on the deal, but your being charged full price.

thus taking most of your credit. they ll price adjust it and youll pay the lightning deal--no need to wait for a refund or anything worse comes to worse just cancel the item, but that wont happen as ive done it three times and they always help me out.

that $100 xbox arcade credit has been trouble some but you can work around it
 
Bought ToV but the lightning deal discount on the invoice is only $1.32 instead of the $14 odd amount it should be. Oh, well, haven't talked to customer service in a while.
 
I spent $21 shipped on Star Ocean a few weeks ago.. Used, but complete and perfect condition. I will be sad if it is 15, but I will get over it.
 
I'm having a hard time justifying this purchase. I currently have:

$650
$107.50 GS Credit
$70 Amazon Credit on one account
$161ish on another account.

I'm buying a PS3 on Friday, along with an HDTV. (hopefully if I can find a good deal on a 32" 1080p Vizio or Samsung.)

This leaves me with little left after spending most of my money on the TV/PS3.

I'm left with, mainly, the $70 on the first amazon account and the gamestop credit.

I'm going to be buying Infamous and two games to flip for Amazon credit (keeping infamous).

Now, I have alot of Amazon pre-orders to pay off in early next year...

Final Fantasy XIII (and CE if there is one.)

And, ultimately, I'd like to pick up AC2 before the end of the year.

I liked Symphonia, but got bored half-way through. Mainly.. the story was dragging on.

Is Vesperia better, and why?
 
wow sold fast, good thing I added to cart the moment I saw the price. I'll wait to see if SO:TLH is less than $20 before I order. I have the $20 credit from MW2 and not sure if the credit balance carries over or not.
 
Grabbed ToV for $15. Sweet!
That and the RB2 SE bundle yesterday put a serious dent in my wallet though. I'm hoping nothing enticing pops up tomorrow.
 
Also, I heard the ToV is being ported to PS3/was ported in Japan and will be brought to the US, with extra char's, voice acting etc.

Should I just wait?

was AC2 up for lightning deals today? i didn't see it (not that I would've gotten it, but it would've tempted me).

but i did get ToV! $15 is automatic!
 
I got totally gipped, added it to my cart right away & while entering CC & shipping info ToV went back to normal price on checkout. Plus on top of it I can no longer cancel it. Amazon blows.
