F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for a 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick. Games listed in "acceptable" condition likely have very beaten up cases, or are missing cases, and are in not so great condition, but generally have a working game disc.

Here is an example of a like new handheld (PS Vita) - Thanks Slixshot

All I have to say is that I F'ING LOVE Like New. and I accept acceptable. In terms of handhelds. (and even acceptable is fine, if you aren't ocd about cosmetics(and even then the screens were brand new) but yellow plastic, slight mush to the buttons))
I dont have a PS3 yet, so please forgive my noob question. Does GotY editions for PS3 (in this case and in general) come as DLC code rather than on disc like in X360? Thanks!
In this case it is on the disc. But as a general rule it really depends on the publisher. BF3 Premium is a code for the PS3 also.

In another thread, I thought someone said the GOTY extras for Uncharted 3 came on a voucher and the voucher has since expired? I think it was either BBY or Target clearance thread. This is per memory, not necessarily fact.

Are you talking about the Uncharted Dual Pack? That's the one that comes with a Voucher.
clicked through and saw most copies are listed at $70+... I didn't know my barely-used copy was worth that much O_O
Yeah, some of these games go for some crazy prices. Though I was hoping for more of a landslide of new games rather than a couple coming in every now and then.

Thanks for answering this! And asking.

Bought one, glad to see its on disk, wish more games would come this way.

just out of curiousity, but how can you guys tell a restock happened? as far as i can tell the "just arrived" section rarely updates.

I Remember getting Fire Emblem a long time ago for Gamecube for $15 or so. I'm glad I bought it then complete and have still yet to play it.

In late 2006 Gamestop had them for $9.99 brand new and they could barely move them then. Amazing how things have changed.

the number of results jumps by a few 100.

Awakening also got a lot of hype before and after it got backordered, so that made previous games jump price.

I luckily got a Pre-Owned Radiant Dawn from Best Buy when it was available.

Might've been $10. All I remember is it was a long time and it was literally the last good Gamecube game that got released and I needed it to complete a collection that I will probably never play.

It would be cool if the Earl of Lemongrab graded all the Warehouse Deals stuff.

THIS GAME IS IN UNACCEPTABLE CONDITON

UNACCEPTABLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE!!!!!!
:360: Madden NFL 13 (LN) $18.56
If you absolutely must own the latest off-the-shelf football sim then buying Madden *used* is definitely the way to go. It certainly hasn't been worth purchasing new for several years & the less we reward poor/lazy coding the better.

As an aside: a tip to anyone who is open to retro-gaming and wants a truly good football experience: The OG Xbox version of NFL2K5 is a better bet than any Madden made since, well, 2005. NFL2K5 is compatible with the 360 (as long as you have a hard drive), can be had for a couple bucks used, and still has an active community supporting it with roster updates. The sad truth is that NFL2K5 is still a better football simulation...8+ yrs after its release. Ever since EA bought the exclusive contract from the NFL and didn't really have to work hard to make a better product, each successive release of Madden has been a glorified roster update (at best).

If anyone wants a truly funny and highly accurate review of the current state of the Madden franchise, check out the very first/highest rated Amazon user review of Madden 13 (360) by a guy named Brandon May: "Innovation or Devolution? The Great Hype Machine Is Back..."...

Slightly off topic but earlier in this thread I posted the condition of a amazon warehouse purchased item with the missing slipcover. A user by the name perdition) troy mentioned to message him and he help me out. It's been a week and so no response. Any one else have any history of dealing with this user? Seems strange to offer help and then completely ignore when asked for it.

Well his user tag is "No show" so I wouldn't be surprised.

It's perdition(troy and I've been seeing him post around here. He sent me a message about getting the HeartGold code, I gave him, the code, and he thanked me. Maybe the slipcover thing slipped his mind.

Possibly, its just really strange since he actually responded in this thread that he was reading my message and getting back to me....that was 3 days ago.

It's only 3 days. Plus, he only offered and has no obligation to go through with it.

Quick question, I bought Infamous off of Warehouse deals in Very Good condition for $7, but the case was really scratches up and there was no manual. Would Amazon give me a partial refund or what?

Won't know until you contact them. You will most likely get a partial refund or the option to return the item though.
Haven't people been finding DSis instead of 3DSs when buying these?
It is sold from Amazon Warehouse for that price so I'm sure you can return, get refund, and / or get a new 3DS XL from them if that happens. Haven't heard of people getting DSi's instead of 3DS XL's though.

Snagged a Good condition Metroid Prime Trilogy Collector's Edition for $47.49. Here's hoping it's not beat to hell and missing items....

Also snagged Like New copies of Final Fantasy 8 and 9 for $1.51 and $2.17 respectively.
