Borderlands 2 - Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep - 6/25 - 800 pts.

Spent some time farming last night and got a Level 50 Akkurate Slagga. Never really liked the slag weapons til now. This thing is crazy.
MDon't have the DLC yet, but from what I have been told, it doesn't take long to beat. d*
I probably spent around 15 hours on it with doing all the sidequests, exploring etc. I'd guess you could blow through it in 5ish hours though if you just did only the story missions.

I loved it and will playthrough it again in TVHM, but yeah if you're tired of the game (and don't have the season pass) you can just sell it while value is high and re-buy in a year or two when a GOTY version is out with all the DLC packs.

Thanks! Both codes still working at this time.

^ Thanks for the confirmation. I guess I'll go enter the vault key code now as well even though I still have 20 of them banked ;). I'm at level 43 and figured I might as well wait till I'm at 50 before redeeming any more (though I will probably do one at 45).

I finally got the challenge achievement last night. It took me another hour or so of blasting varkids and other critter in Caustic Caverns to go from 400 to 750 "Open wide" shotgun kills.

Then I did a couple more phaselocks for the Siren character I started up a while back to get 100 for that one.

Now I need to press on with my TVHM playthrough. Though I'm not sure if all of this is worth it as I'll probably never be able to take on Terramorphous anyway.
At 50 you're just going to want all orange gear. :D I feel like the Golden Keys are better spent before then.
As someone who waited until 50 to use their keys, I agree. You can get some good purple relics at 50 though.

Wait, you don't get orange stuff (sometimes at least) from the keys? I was kind of counting on that ;).

I'm pretty sure my son got an orange a while back from it (but at level 15 or so).

Highest rarity from the gold key chest is purple they've said (gearbox) but randy pitchfords wife post a code one day saying something like, hope someone gets a orange so IDK what the truth is.

Personally between my friends and I, we have never found a orange from it (40+ keys)

Well I think I am going to put BL2 away for awhile. I finally soloed Terra yesterday (3 times actually) after no luck the previous day. It had nothing to do with my guns but rather the Spec on my Commando. I found a Purple Grisly Pointman Class Mod with +259.2 Regen and +8654 Health +5 Last Ditch +4 Pressure and +3 Grit. I was able to take him out with a Level 42 Moxxi Heart Breaker + Level 47 Bee (I know). Has a +42% Health Relic also. I used think Grit was crap but with 8 points in it you have a 1/3 chance of surviving death. It helps big time. on Solo bosses. Anyway this is the spec I used for anyone interested.

Guerrilla
5/5 Ready
5/5 Willing
1/1 Scorched Earth

Gunpowder
4/5 Impact

Survival
5/5 Healthy
5/5 Prepartation
10/5 Last Ditch (+80% Damage and +140% Movement speed in FFL)
7/5 Pressure (+98 Reload and -84% Shield Delay based on Health)
1/1 Phalanx (I would actually use this in Impact for raiding since it won't help)
5/5 Resourceful (I could move this also but having turret out keeps Terra occupied)
8/5 Grit
1/1 Gemini

I used a homing transfusion to keep health up. This worked really well.

My shields were 21889 and my health was 73560

Anyway, I am just disappointed with the orange loot drop rate to keep going. Not getting XP is just a drag at this point. I will hop back on when they raise the level cap.

yeah I was prompted for the patch a couple hours ago when I loaded it up. Didn't have the graveyard issue - glad they are working on patching these issues in what seems to me like a pretty timely manner.
New patch dropping today that claims to fix the graveyard.sav problem:
Finally. Even though Daz said my hd looked ok after I posted what I found I was too paranoid to play anymore since that night hahaha

Whats crazy is people that are willing to play on live with their level 150+ modded characters. Say what you will about the level 50 modders, at least they try to somewhat hide it. Going online with a level 150+ character just screams "report me" (which I do).

I know this has probably been asked before, but can you switch between TVHM and regular mode? I'd like to play the Pirate DLC, but I've played about two hours into TVHM on my Siren.

Seriously? I didn't even know that was possible .

I've been pushing through on my TVHM playthrough. Made it past the bunker/angel stuff last night. The hardest part of that was the approach to bunker. I got killed 4 or 5 times when I got impatient taking out the badass or super badass constructor that pops up near the top. I would get tired of getting one shot off at a time so sometimes I'd stand out in the open too long and get pummeled by rockets.

I'm level 48 now and still have yet to get any more oranges (since one dropped by the Warrior in my first playthrough). I used several keys and got all purples but it is some good stuff that I am using now.

Yes, at the main menu you press Y to select character. Pick your siren, at that point it'll ask if you want to play on normal or TVHM

Lots of dev Q&A today over at the GBX forums regarding their fix for the BAR reset bug and others.

The post that kicked it all off:

We're almost done with the fix for this!

It should be releasing on PC first with consoles to follow, given that the testing / certification process for consoles is more lengthy.

Here's how we're planning for it to work: (after the fix is in):

*deep inhale*

Whenever you select a character and press "Continue" (or load into a level that's not the Main Menu) we will check to see if all the challenges you completed for that character add up to more BadAss rank than your profile currently has.

Then (and only then), the game will bring your BadAss rank up to the correct value based on what your savegame reported, search your challenge and mission information and make sure you that you have all the skins and heads you would have been rewarded from those challenges/missions!

It will also mark your profile as "having been lost at some point in the past". This means that whenever you load other, different savegames the game will perform this same process and adjust your BadAss rank accordingly each time, once per savegame, for up to a maximum 16 savegame slots, depending on how they're numbered. (I'm particularly proud of that part )

It's important to remember that this check will only occur when you load a character and press "Continue" or join a game. This fix up does not run unless you Continue or join a game.

So, if you were one of the people affected by this issue and have 5 different characters, make sure to load each one up and press "Continue", enter the game, see your BadAss rank increase, and then Save and Quit! After you repeat this process for each character your BadAss rank should be completely restored, and your heads and skins will be restored, minus the ones you found on the ground.

Please understand that this is the best we could do given the information available and our many constraints! I'll be checking this thread as often as possible in case you have any questions.

They also touch upon some of the other bug fixes being rolled into the same update (Master Gee freeze). Here's a link to the starting point of the discussion.

Wow, that sounds like the best possible solution they could have done. Kudos to Gearbox. Now I need to pop the game in to try it out.

Except for the fact that the problem seems to stem from patches. Just had my badass rank and golden keys reset for the second time after applying the new patch. Glad they are figuring out a way to fix it but still frustrating as hell in the meantime.

The patch to fix the BAR stuff hasn't actually gone live yet. It will release on PC first, then we wait for the XBOX certification process to run its course (a few weeks??).

Over the past few days Gearbox has started pulling back the curtain a bit and allowing information to flow regarding the state of fixes for some of these bugs. They had been very tight-lipped prior to that.

This!

Some users on the GBX forums are batting around an approach to avoid this which I have started using. Basically, just make sure that you are signed into an offline profile (that you don't care about) when you launch BL2 prior to an update. Once at the start screen, hit the guide button and select 'join xbox live' (or similar). It will then detect any BL2 patches and download them. If it nukes the profile in the process, it is nuking a profile you don't care about. Switch back to your main profile and all BL2 data *should* still be intact.

I hate to be a beggar but does anyone have a Lvl 50 Bee or Conference Call to share? I just hit Lvl 50 and the only good weapons I have are my Lvl 46 eTech Rocket Launcher and The Law pistol. GT: N7 HydroX :)

I can drop you a ton of lvl50's if you want. Bee and CC included.

That would be amazing. I would appreciate it. :D

Holy crap... Didn't expect a full inventory of stuff. I had to pretty much sell the majority of my stuff to make room. Lol.

Thank you so much!

Wow. Brother Daz is so generous. I wish I could get in on it but I don't feel I have anything to offer in return and still am in the 30s.

I don't mind hooking you up but you should wait until you're level 50 since it'll fill your inventory. I don't need anything in return. I was hooked up with most of mine (thanks to DJ and Ian) so I'm just paying it forward.

And you're welcome hydro, have fun! I know I did.

Lol, that much stuff huh? I don't know when I'll hit 50 since I'm playing Assassin's Creed now and on Borderlands when my cousin has time to play. I do have the slots on my vault and backpack maxed out at least.

I'm level 35 and unfortunately my cousin is behind me so I don't get much xp helping him (still fun though). What's the easiest way to grind the last 15 levels?

I did something I never planned on doing: joined a game with randoms. Most of them out leveled me by 2-3 levels but we made it through the same missions that I had needed done. My last 5 levels were done in a couple hours, maybe? Of course I went from the start of 49 straight to 50 after beating Warrior.

I'm at level 50 on my TVHM playthrough and having a hell of a time beating the Warrior to finish it off. I have yet to get any level 50 orange gear though. It is my understanding that I need to beat him and then do the side missions to get that stuff, right? I really just want to be able to beat Terramorphous and finish off the last few achievements (Terra and the side mission one mostly at this point).

You can just die and stay up top and get on the rock and jump and shoot over the fence at him. Boring and takes a while (probably especially so on TVHM), but works.

Last code for the weekend. There are "limited quantities" so I doubt it'll last like the others.
