Happy belated birthday, Rudy, and thanks to Chase for the very nice Undertaker graphic. Although Bret Hart (nice graphic for MSU, btw) is my favorite, the Undertaker voice is my legacy. The only thing that would have been better would have been Taker with Mr. Bucket, LOL.

Well, tonight turned out pretty well. It was kinda lonely with the majority of you guys playing TF2 at the beginning of the night, but there were a few of us who stayed true to the COD all night.

I managed to finish off the M4 and M21 red tiger camo tonight, so now I've got it for the M16, M4, G36, M40, M21, and the .50 Cal. My goal is to have the gold dragunov by the end of the month.

Well, gentlemen, it was a good MONDAY MADNESS, I must say!

Team fortress was pretty awesome, and even though we got our heinies spanked on Call of Duty 4, it was still some good times.

I promise I won't giggle like a little school girl anymore when AttackingMVP makes his Mickey Mouse voice...but you've gotta admit...when we started the match on BOG on the bad side, and he said (in all his Mickey Mouse glory) "fuck This Spawn!" ...

...that shit was bananas, yo!

i MIGHT actually be down for some gears tonight myself. i just updated it so i won't have to worry about it later if i decide to play (really depends who is online for me). one of my friends actually got a free copy of battlefield for me, so i am about to start a break from CoD (very necessary too) which may very well start today if i don't have too many people i care to play with online.

I may be up for some Gears tonight. I've played through the campaign 4 times (2x at a buddies when it first came out, 2 times recently after picking it up cheap) but I've never tried the online MP.
 
Yeah, I love the campaign. Played it on casual then hardcore in co-op at my buddies when it came out (I didn't have a 360 back then) then picked it up recently and played through in casual by myself and then powered through hardcore in co-op with another friend on the 4th.

Doubt I'll fuck with insane. We tried that back when it came out after finishing on hardcore and it was just way to frustrating.

no, it was not a "hot copy". he gets a lot of free stuff from sponsers because he owns a sports bar in new jersey and he has a 360 hooked up in the bar with live and everything, so he managed to get me a copy as well. he knows how much i love realistic first person shooters and he knows money has been tight at my house lately, so i lucked out. i wasn't actually going to get the game because i disliked the single player demo, but he really wanted me to play the multiplayer with him, so i am going to give it a shot. i am taking it as an early b-day present since my b-day is at the end of the month... that is the only way i can accept it without feeling guilty.

anyways, i already had all the maps downloaded for gears when they became free, though i don't remember doing it. i basically download everything that is free for games i own since i have an elite with tons of space.i haven't played this game in a very long time, so i am expecting to get killed a lot if i play.

edit: i have played the split screen campaign back in the day with my brother and beat it on every difficulty. i tried the online multiplayer and just didn't do well, though it could have been because one of my teammates was getting a ton of freaking kills which basically left none for anyone else.

i think i might go work on campaign right now. hopefully the disc works.

John was at the final boss on casual, and could not beat him, i tried to tell him what i remembered over chat, but it didn't work. i ran, grabbed my copy, and went to the final boss myself. bam, layed him down my first time, and as the movie started, the disc had an error :(

and gears MP, is all shotgun. thats the only way to go, which sucks, because it seems super powerful. but still... meh.

he did all of this with the sniper... he was ridiculously good. back when he played halo 2, he was ranked 2nd in the world without using a lag switch like the #1 guy (this is according to him). i met him playing socom 2 and the 2 of us would run desert glory on either side. he wasn't as good as me on that, but i am better at realistic FPS games and he is better with the ones like halo and gears.

i am awful with the GoW sniper. shotgun and bow are where its at.
 
Well, before we shoot this thread too off-topic....is anyone down for COD4 after Gears? For Tuesday Titillation? (sp?) ...or as FLESHY says: "Tuesday Nitro"

I think that what we did with TF2 is a good way to do things. Try new things, get some fun games in but then return to the game we know and always enjoy.
 
well i better get some sleep and try and do this a little early at least with some of you so i can play with my clan on CoD afterwards. i can't say for sure i am even going to wake up at a decent time to play, but i am going to try and get on around like 8 or 9 eastern to play it since my clan usually gets on CoD around 10:30 - 11.
