Well, by unlocking that challenge you also aided in creating the most embarassing moment in my college career. Since I stayed up so late I slept in a bit and was five minutes late to class. As I sit down the professor asks a question about what we read and the entire room is silent. It was an easy question and participation is part of the grade, so I blurt out the answer.

Everyone turns around and stares at me, including the professor, like my head was on fire until finally the girl in front of me says "we're taking a quiz."

Everyone was crying laughing and I felt like a total retard, but on the bright side he decided to throw out the quiz, so everyone just got credit for turning in a piece of paper with their name on it, so I made a few friends today in the people who didn't read the story.

LOL, that makes no sense. 90% of the time, teams don't even play other teams from their own division in the first round of the playoffs.

Alright first off, I am feeling quite a bit better and will definitely play tonight after work. Thanks for the invites last night Hammy, but I was just playing a couple games before heading out to the casino.

And he went from Div. I-AA to the most glamourours position in football. Eastern Illinois is in the same conference as Murray State so I am pleased an OVC alum is doing so well. The most famous athletes from the OVC previous would have been Popeye Jones & Trenton Hassel in basketball, Kirk Reuter in baseball, and Pat Spurgin in rifle.

I'm a Bears fan so I don't have a horse in the SF vs. DAL race, but a friend of mine that's a huge Cowboys fan 2 years ago (when Romo just took over for Bledsoe) said "I would rather have Rex Grossman than Romo." I won't let him live that down to this day.

There's only one good QB in that list (Flutie) and 4 decent ones (Harbaugh, Kramer, Miller, and Griese) in that list. Most teams have maybe 1/3 or less of that size list since 1988.

Any wonder why the Bears were tied with the Bengals as worst team in the NFL in the 90's? Any time the Bears are better than terrible, I'm estatic.

On a COD4 front, is it just me or is anyone else having more Halo fever than COD 4 fever right now? I think it's because subconciciously I know Halo 3 will be getting more updates while COD 4 is done.

don't lie to the new people, telling them you aren't assholes... i'm just messing around about that, but you can add me (anarchydummy gamertag), i am actually a bit of an asshole myself, but that is because i am very competitive usually. i don't play with the people in this thread much, but i am more than happy to give anyone tips, show hidden spots, etc.
 
Well it seems as if my school's internet connection was changed to Dixie Cups and strings over Summer Vacation. I can get a good connection maybe 2-5 rooms I join. :(

Just out of town from the 5th-18th. Was all supposed to be hanging with the girlfriend and help her fix up her new place and move, but got stuck with a 5 day business trip sandwiched in the middle that's unfortunately not drug related.....
 
Playing COD4 the past few days with R1V3R5 got me thinking, why dont some more of
you past players dust off you copies of COD4 and come play this thursday.

I'd LOVE play this thursday but my xbox will be on it's way back to Tx for repairs. No RROD for me, just a bad GPU. Just in time for the new NHL 09 game and i probably won't have it in time for the release of rock band 2. But more importantly, I can't play COD.

49 more MP44 Headshots for Gold AK.. Averaging 20-30 per Shipment Headquarter game. If another game comes tommorow, my Gold AK may finally arrive! :O Finished the leftover headshots of my M16, G3, G36C, and M4 today in Headquarter games..

MP44 is actually a very decent weapon, with the same firepower/faster hit rate than AK47. The only thing it lacks is the sight; because ironsight is practically fail. It's practically impossible to hit long range with MP44 considering its kick and its small ironsight, you can't even see the enemy. I pray for another shipment map tommorow (hit two today) so that I can spray again lol.

Play of the day:
[Map is Crash] The Headquarter is in the building in the middle that has two floors. Coming from the opposite side (the shop), I throw C4 in the second floor window and somehow enemy shot it before I triggered or something (I think he was shooting outside to kill one of my teammates) and he killed 2 of his teammates including himself (total 3) with my C4.
 
I just restarted prestige mode again and I'm awful without all my grenades. Generally, about 30% of my kills are grenades and the rest are my trusty M4 w/ red dot. I just unlocked the red dot (holographic) for the M4 tonight, but I really need those extra grenades. Thank god for double XP this weekend so I can get all my toys back. I fucking love COD4.

Also, it's been awesome playing with you again, Khondor!

Yeah, after the RROD, I caught a second wind, and really enjoy COD4 again. It makes wait for World at War (yes, World at War) seem even longer.

We're only two months and change away from World at War. One would hope they would release that stuff soon.
 
I'm also thinking it would be weak as hell if they didn't release another map pack soon. Both previous COD games have had two map packs.

Although the second ones for both games in my opinion sucked ass. The one free map in the second pack of the COD2 maps was totally awesome though.
 
Just when I think I'm out, they pull me back in.

I didn't think I was done with the game whatsoever, but I planned to play a lot of NHL 09 this weekend, and Rock Band 2 on Sunday. But double XP... can't miss it!

Seriously though, I would love to see some new maps!! :D Even though I got to the game a bit late (by others standards), the same maps are starting to wear a bit thin ... especially since there are a couple I don't like at all!! If they created a way to vote on maps prior to the game beginning I would be on cloud 9! :bouncy:
