402 said that the game basically can't find the server list, said to back out completely to the dashboard and then try again, worked for me.

Just got back online and checked my mail and I finally received my code and downloading now. :D It was delivered at 8:35 so they still slowly rolling them out..

I think he was asking when it will end, like Halo 3 beta was about a month long. And I don't know..I guess a couple months cause they said they'll still be giving codes in September.

My guess is, because its too late....You can't register for the beta now. There may be other ways to enter but haven't been revealed yet.
 
Blah. I got my token tonight, so I downloaded and I couldn't find any games and the beta would just sit at the "Waiting for 5 more players" screen, every time. So, I go to my settings and check the network connection, and it's fine, of course. Now I can't get anything but the Downloading Game Settings screen.

Us new-wavers must have killed the servers. We suck so much. :cry:
 
I am being punished for being a bitch on their website. Dammit. I know I am in because I just posted on their site and it showed me as a Beta Member, but I know for a fact that I am getting bitch slapped for bitching on the forums I can promise you that right now. Oh well it was definately worth bitching at them for what they did :) screwing up my FREE beta..... ;)
 
wow. This beta is kinda crappy. It has a pretty prevalent bug that sticks to downloading settings when you look for a game. It's happened to me 70% of the time I try to find a game. Annoying
 
Got mine last night, but it was late enough where I had to dl it overnight. I'll be giving it a try late tonight if anyone else is on...
 
So... I get this weird status code: 80135004when I try to download my beta using the code.

Can anyone confirm this being an issue because of my Silver Membership? I'm willing to finally get Gold for this but I'm not going to if it might not be the cause of the problem... I for one can't find any thread concerning this error code.

It's because you're on a Silver account.

You need to back out of the beta all the way to the dashboard and then launch the beta again. Should fix it.

I played it, and boy is it good... for an hour or two. I'll definitely get this off YF360G just because you can pick it up any time and kickass and then not play for a while.

I played for an hour and a halfish and the loading glitch only happened to me one time.

Buy a 1 month card . You can get a free one in the XBLA collection game .
 
Just checked and still no code, hopefully I will have a nice suprise when I get home from work tomorrow, that way I can download it while I am at school.
 
got mine tonight

i think they got the whole call of duty in a modern setting down...and the purty graphics don't hurt either (simple stuff like smoke wafting through, etc)

I played for about half an hour and it only makes me want more

well, after playing a bit, the multiplayer has warmed up a bit to me more. Though I think giving winning people more advantages a bit unbalanced. Things get a whole lot better if you kill 25 people with the m16, then you get the red dot which is tons better than the crappy ironsights that block everything. Then when you get the m4 you start kicking even more arse ;)
