I need to find the interview with him where he praises Umaga, and rants and raves about how Samoan wrestlers are the greatest thing since sliced-bread. Then you'll understand. I'm not a fan of "undefeated" wrestlers in general though, the whole premise behind having a wrestler squash (in Umaga's case, I haven't followed Joe closely enough to say one way or another) or simply beat everyone else on the roster to elevate one guy is silly. Feels so forced. Especially with Goldberg, the whole time (with the exception of when Mongo knocked him out) he was being built into this unbeatable giant, I kept asking myself why? What is so great about this character? I'm not saying SJ can't wrestle, I don't know how he is on the mic as I haven't heard enough of him, but that interview rubbed me the wrong way. That and Demo man's constant "Samoa Joe!!!" has driven me batty.
I'll try to find the interview...
So you don't like Samoa Joe based mostly off of one interview. OK, whatever, that's your prerogative. Why are you so biased against TNA though? You do realize that competition is better for everybody, don't you?
I hate Samoa Joe... the sooner TNA folds the better.
TNA getting bigger is the only thing that can eventually shake WWE out of the horrid slump it's been in for years now. Since Christian and Angle have both jumped to TNA it has now become a viable alternative for many wrestlers, especially since they're going to 2 hours in primetime in 2 weeks. Too bad for you TNA is heading in the opposite direction.
