its been a tough year. im 2nd in total points in the league, but im 1st in points against. in otherwords, ive had the toughest schedule.
I know that feeling all too well. Scoring enough to beat everyone else that week but the one you're facing.
now for my big match i have to decide which RB to bench. I can start 2 plus a flex, so essentially 3. i have pierre thomas, jamaal charles, ladanian tomlinson and ray rice. right now i have LT on the bench and thomas in the flex. i could start a WR as my flex, but i rarely rarely do that, and dont think im going to in my biggest game of the year. but just for fun, my WR are brandon marshall, anquan boldin (starting those 2) along with roddy white and robert meacham.
Normally, I'm all for starting a RB in the flex slot; however, this year (in my main league at least) the wideouts are averaging more on a weekly basis. With that said, I'd start LT2, Rice, Boldin, Marshall, and White in your flex.
Seeing how important this game is, I'd be hesitant to start any Saints players - too much risk for little reward. They're not in a must-win scenario, and with the Vikes two games behind in the HFA hunt, I doubt they'll risk their stars if they're leading in the second half. LT2 and Marshall are playing must-win games from here on out (2nd place doesn't grant them a wild-card slot). Boldin and the Cards need a win this week and next to get a playoff slot. While the Falcons and the Steelers need to win for the hopes of a wild-card slot. Jamaal is risky just because the Chiefs are out, and who knows what they'll do then. Work on the run game? Figure out how to improve the pass? Who knows.
