All these games have free shipping, and Gamefly games almost always come with original boxes, manuals, and other inserts (such as Online Passes). These games are used, however.

Good deals tend to go in and out of stock over the course of the day. If the game you want is out of stock (i.e., you can only "Keep" or "Rent" it but not "Buy" it) then keep checking every once in a while to see if it restocks.

NO NEW DEALS TODAY. MAY BE THE END OF DAILY DEALS FOR A WHILE.
I'm wondering if this is a situation where fans were just so dissapointed that they exaggerate, like when Superman 64 is called the worst game ever (I always lol at this, SA, SA2, and Sonic 2006 were far worse games, as was the Batman Beyond N64 game).
I really doubt you've played Superman 64 if you literally think its a better game than Sonic Adventure. SA is a steaming pile I will never return to, but it is infinitely more playable than Superman 64.

I remember being a little kid and renting superman 64 from my friends dads vhs store. For 3 days i tried to get passed the very first part but couldnt because the controls were horrendous. I havnt played it since but its still one of the worst games ive ever played. At least i could progress in sonic 06

Hmm...looks like no new deals today. They also haven't deactivated any of the previous deals.

I lied, new deals just posted.

Also, LOL at the tags on this thread. Someone didn't get the game they wanted...

Really? I had just the opposite experience. Between the controls, godawful camera, and glitches, I couldn't progress in SA1 or Sonic '06. There were times I would be stuck in Superman 64 (like anytime you killed Parasite before you were supposed to) but at least it was playable most of the time. I was also able to finish SA2 but I forced myself to through sheer will. I have never played such a boring, crappy game before. I can honestly say Superman 64 was more fun, at the very least flying around Metropolis worked halfway.

Still, you are lucky. I wasted my birthday gift to get Superman 64 within two weeks of it's launch. I only got one big gift a year, so that one game was ALL I got besides some cheap clothes and cheap candy. It was the worst birthday ever, and I couldn't get a new game until Christmas.

Wrong. I was at least able to finish Superman 64, on hard mode no less. SA was unplayable, it was a clusterfuck of glitchiness, terrible camera angles/controls, and poor controls.

Superman 64 was too, but not as bad.
The Amazon trade in value just dipped to $4.00 (and I assume others will soon follow), unless you locked one yesterday at $18.xx.

EDIT: Just saw you can trade in the yet-to-be-released XCOM to Amazon for $7.45, crazy steal right there.
Eh no biggie, I'd be trading in to GameStop or BB. Of course that's after I play through the game and check out multiplayer.

Well that makes more sense, but try them both now, and tell me which one is more playable. I suffered through tons of garbage as well. I had Home Alone 2 and Lester The Unlikely for SNES, haha.

Definitely in for Need For Speed Most Wanted 2012. With the $5 off coupon, it goes to $14.99 plus tax used. Not too shabby.
People seriously likening Sonic Adventure to Superman 64?

At least superman 64 was playable I agree

Picked up Prototype 2 for ps3 again. Sold my copy a while ago to make profit but kept all my Collectors Edition stuff. Not a bad deal for $10

What's with the SA hate? It was no Mario 64 but saying it was like or even worse than Superman 64 is taking it too far. SA was enjoyable and I still play it even today.

Highly recommend Prototype 2, especially at that price. Picked it up with little to no information about the game from one of these sales and absolutely loved it. There's just something undeniably magical about transforming into a middle-aged Asian woman and jumping off the top of the Empire State building.
People are insane. Superman 64 was all-time bad and broken.
Superman 64 made Sonic 06 look like a AAA game. In fact, I can't think of a game this gen worse than Superman 64.

How are people comparing SA to Superman 64? I have the fondest memories of SA when it first came out on Dreamcast. The very first level and the very end where you fight Chaos come to mind.

Superman 64 on the other hand... I couldn't even get passed the rings...

I absolutely love Prototype 2 as well. Platinum it. This is what a Spiderman game should be like.

Pretty glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed SA.

Leave the trolling to Zerki.
Is Aliens worth $10? I've heard it's bad, so I'm guessing no, but I am a fan of the movies (well not AvP or Prometheus, but I liked the Quadrilogy). Also, does it tie into the recent DS game at all? I found Aliens Infestation for $10 new recently but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

And finally, what do you guys think the odds are of this game getting cheaper? I remember Duke Nukem and Brink hitting $5 multiple times, and while I had 0 interest in those games I might be willing to bite at ACM for $5 if it's not unplayable.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker was a great fucking game. Really underrated.

I Haven't played it, but I'm inclined to agree with anything that involves Batman Beyond as being great.

Helll yes

In for Need For Speed, been waiting on this to get under $25 again since black friday of last year. Took a long time for this one to drop.

PSA!!!!!!!!

PSASBR back in stock at 17.99, just picked one up finally, been wanting it for months! Lowest price ive seen for it... :bouncy:
New deals are up. Amazing Spiderman for $10 a decent deal? I'll update the OP in a sec.
I'm in for it.
Seems to be for :360: only.

OP is updated. I grabbed Spiderman, wish it was on PS3 as well because of the better chance of it being in good condition, but hopefully my 360 disc comes in ok.

Grabbing Spider-Man and debating Tekken Tag but I think I will wait for new copies to hit $20 again. Kind of wish I had not used my $5 coupon on Naruto last week. Would rather have gotten Spidey for like $5.

Thanks OP!

Appreciate it, oh well, maybe next time they will have it for :ps3:.

Does anyone know if Best Buy sells gift cards for Gamefly? I have a bunch of credit built up with Best Buy and would rather just use that instead of spending $10 out of pocket.

If not no big deal. Will still grab Spider Man either way.
Trade-In values are still pretty high on Spiderman so I'm sure I'll get my money back during some promotion period
Yeah, I looked at going prices for Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time, and I could probably still get $10 out of both of those now. I figure this one will hold at least that much value as well.

No. I don't think Gamefly gift cards even exist, do they?
No. I don't think Gamefly gift cards even exist, do they?
I doubt it but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

In for Scribblenauts. Already have it for PC and it's awesome. My bro will love playing this. Thanks for the heads up!

Tempted by Spiderman, but I rented it and everything aside from swinging aimlessly around the city is just boring.

Still though, swinging! Might still have to get it.
I succumbed to Amazing Spider-Man. $10 is the floor, I'm guessing. Tekken Tag is tempting too, but I can wait for that one.
I succumbed for the same reason. It seems like it's hard to find some recent super hero games cheap. Maybe young kids and their soccer mom shoppers keep the games continuously in high demand. It's hard to find decent games like Captain America (xbox 360) for less than $10. Even crappier games like Thor and X-men Destiny seem kind of hard to find less than $10.

Anyway, thanks OP. I succumbed even though I still have Web of Shadows, Friend of Foe, and Shattered Dimensions sitting in my backlog.
