The following will be a constant effort at providing the lastest Gamestop Preorder Bonuses for all you faithful CAGs. When it comes time to choose where to buy your latest game, it's always good to know if Gamestop has an incentive for you. So, here goes.

Preorder bonuses are usually available for pick-up at the time you pick up your reserved game from Gamestop. For online orders, the bonus ships with the game. Exceptions will be noted. In the case of games released previously to the current date, supplies are as available. Some bonuses are only available for specific platforms.

Are employees required to read the list? It really iritates me when an employee tries to tell me "Oh, there's no preorder item for that game, and if it exists, it'll come with the game. So, like...preorder it already so you might get it" I just want confirmation that it exisits >_
 
Yeah, that art book for Tomb Raider actually looks pretty cool......

With so many games coming out, I may hold off on TR:U for a price drop, but that art book is making me think otherwise.
 
i just found this for call of duty world at war.
In October, Activision will be holding public multiplayer betas for the Xbox 360 and PC editions of Call of Duty: World at War. Those wishing to participate can register at the official Call of Duty site or pre-order the game, which will include a token for beta access. So Gamestop/Ebgames and any other store should have this up soon.
 
Activision just announced today that 360 preorders at Gamestop of Call of Duty World At War will have access to the multiplayer beta in Oct. so info about that I'm sure will be hitting stores soon.
 
I was looking at an ad for Mirror's Edge on the back of the new EGM and ther ad says you pick up the bag when you pick up the game. I know there was some confusion.
 
The range of prices for Tomb Raider: Underworld should be $29.99 - $59.99 and not $24.99 - $39.99 according to both GameStop and amazon although each lists a different release date. Not a surprise but 360 and PS3 versions cost $59.99.

I believe he was taking argument to the Fable 2 LE, which I think is priced at $80. The PoP is very believable, because that hadn't announced an LE yet. With Fable 2, they announced it at $80 and people have already been pre-ordering it.

Available at Best Buy as of today. Not sure how long it's been there. If you actually want the shirt, I would STRONGLY suggest getting it at BB over GS. Besides, you get it now, not when you pick up.
 
Looks like the TR artbook is a hardcover rather than a magazine like crap :drool:

Let's hop it's a good size bigger than the like of DMC4 one.

Hopefully, but I'd be careful with that assumption. It could just be a stock image like the one they used for Soul Calibur 4. The image hardcover they used was nothing like the actual artbook.

The Resistance 2 limited edition is listed as having a bonus too, but when I click on the page the only "bonus" listed is the DVD that comes with the limited edition everywhere.
 
Stupid question: I guess I'll call my EB/Gamestop today, but if I preordered any of these games prior to the bonuses, do I retroactively get these bonuses?

I noticed this and have not reported this edition as offering the bonus as well, as I don't like to report on bonuses until the website itself confirms them. I'll keep an eye on this.

The GameStop's in my area don't even know when they are getting the Beta Keys in. They say just to keep calling every so often cause Sony sends them "whenever they send them" .....
 
I thought Gamestop changed their website and is now like Amazon where all purchases over $25 is free shipping? I had a banner at the top of the page saying that when I visited the other day.

That's EBGames.com. And yes, I know they're the same company but GameStop.com doesn't seem to offer it for some reason.

EDIT: I just got an email from GameStop recommending me this based on my purchase history (I wonder if that's like Amazon's "You bought a DS game so you'd probably like another DS game") and they sent me a code for free overnight shipping: NINJALUV

The 360, PS3, PS3 CE, Wii, and PS2 versions of Smackdown VS Raw 2009 have a bonus...cooler. And I'm pretty sure I saw that Bella Sara horse at Target today.
 
GameStop has a free exclusive instore "bonus" for Far Cry 2 360,PC, & PS3 Preorders.

Ubisoft announced today the release date of Far Cry 2 and an exclusive pre-order partnership with Gamestop. Below is the press release with the announcement:

I emailed customer service and ask if this will be available online aswell. Here is there response:

Is there more to where you got that, because it doesn't mention specifically being a 360 exclusive. And I kind of like where Ubisoft's head is at, but the "automatically receive" part makes it sound like you'd just be preordering the regular edition and hoping for the special edition. If GameStop screwed up and gave you the regular edition it doesn't seem like you'd be able to complain much, as it is what you ordered.
 
I would have preordered SVR09 if that were a retro 1980s-tacky fanny pack. :whistle2:#

(I'm still buying the game, though; just not going to preorder it.)
 
Great thread idea, always wanted one. Why not mention Prince of Persia upgrading you to free Limited Edition? Or does that one not count? Either way, I'm hoping for something with Sonic Unleashed, a plushie would be great!

Did you anyone preordered Yggdra Union PSP online? Does the bonus CD appear as a separate line item in your order? Mine doesn't. Should I be worried?
