Tekken 6 is solid gameplay wise. But honestly, the game as a whole product is not that well polished. The online still sucks, Campaign mode is horribley executed (and is unfortunately the best way to unlock things), and graphics are piss poor (looks like a ps2 port).

What else explains it's drastic price drop in a matter of month(s)?
this is why you suck, because football in the groin is clearly superior on all levels
This contest is over! Give that man the $10,000!

Does anyone know if the Mad Catz Online Store ever officially sold out of the Femme Fatale sticks on 360? They were still showing as available on there so I ordered one over 24 hours ago and my order is still processing.

Just curious because if they are sold out then I'm going to get the MvC 2 stick from Gamestop because they just dropped the price on them online and in-store to $140.

Mad Catz online store takes up to 2 business days for confirmation/shipment. If you ordered yesterday or on the weekend, it has not been processed yet.

Yesterday was a holiday for us Mad Catz pplz.

Hey akuma I'm sending you my stick tomorrow.. thanks again for agreeing to mod it. Can't wait to have a great TE with seimitsus that works on PS3 (BC PS2, BC PS1) AND Xbox 360 (BC Xbox). Too cool!

I know this is a stupid question since everybody here imported the first one, but does anybody have the U.S. version of Bleach: Dark Souls(the second DS Bleach fighting game) for the Nintendo DS? I'd be up for throwing down online sometime once I've gotten a good handle for Urahara.

I really like the collection, but when you already own something comparable to the selections u want, you tend to be more compelled to save that $500

Thanks. Should I know something by like Monday then?

Any Tatsunoko vs Capcom love here? I've got my game pre-ordered and have changed my Wii over to LAN adapter for online. I may get the Mad Catz stick depending on how easily modded it is. It's a great fighter, definitely better than SFIV.
Lived in SoCal before, no thanks.
Ok, new new solution...

Move to NorCal

I imported the game from Japan around the time it came out there. Fun stuff. Unbalanced, but fun.

Beef, they don't have Carne Asada fries in Sacto area? I'm sure they do foo.

I'm psyched for it. I hope it plays well with the Wii SFC controller. I don't want to buy a joystick for the Wii.

SoCal is fun. I'ma try and move back in a few years. Too much snow and cold here.

Having played both TvC and SF4, that is such a fail comment that its absurd. TvC is a joke in comparison to SF4.

Agreed with AsianxCore.... TvC is fun... unbalanced but fun.

Playing TvC is like drinking liquor straight out of the bottle. You have fun and get crazy, but only for a little bit before you forget everything / passout. SF4 is like a fine wine, the more time you allow (put into it), the better it becomes.
SFIV is still the grand-daddy of modern fighters.. even if it's not perfect.
booo

we want tekken 6

Ever play against the CPU in an arcade game, get bored but don't want to walk away cause it's like wasting money. That's the way I felt when I first played TvC. I'm sure it would have been more exciting againsts an actual human, but still I was bored after a few rounds.

nah. i always walk away because the cpu is boring.

maybe you're just getting better at fighting games

TvC is broken as hell. 70% of the cast have an infinite loop, and this shit isn't hard to pull off for any of them. If those are not fix for the US release I don't see myself getting it again. As it stands right now the game is worse than Arcana Heart 2, no lie.
maybe you're just getting better at fighting games
Lord knows that aint the case. Ask ReRo & Jekki, they stomp me in Tekken.

you lose to them?!
wow, you ARE terrible!
Yeah man, fuck that Karas infinite.
I don't think the infinite bothers me as Karas can easily push characters in the corner for all his Baroque Resets/Infinite bullshit. Karas OTG...whhhaaaat....

Beef, I don't know if you drive or not but SFIV tournament in Concord this Sunday (Jan 3rd). Check the Pac North forums on SRK for more info.

I've logged over 100 hours in SFIV and have owned TvC since its launch last year. I don't think my statement is absurd at all. Street Fighter IV has the worst controls in any fighter I've played. They're not accurate enough. The game is also very slow and the console exclusive characters are extremely unbalanced. King of Fighters XII is a much better fighter than SFIV as well. SFIV has better online but the KoFXII engine and controls are far superior to SF.

In regards to infinites in TvC, you can megacrash out of them. You trade some super meter and a small amount of life to escape any combo. You can also advance guard and negate most of the chip damage in the game. I really love that about TvC.

I got no car, and none of my friends play SFIV competitively. WOE.
I'm gonna be playing in an online tournament tomorrow though. And there's Winter Game Fest in SoCal in mid-January. I want to go to that, but I'd need a ride...and lots of money for food/gas money. I went last year, and it was fantastic.

It's funny you mention the controls in SFIV. I have a friend who sucks at fighting games and can't pull off a special move to save his life. But when I pop in SFIV he has a much easier time doing moves. It leads me to believe the controls are very responsive even on a 360 controller.

Coming from a long time KOF fan XII is crap. The whole games was an unfinished mess. Alot of people complain about the graphics but I personally liked them, my only suggestion is they should scale down the sprites, they're way to big.

anyone who uses hours to measure their experience with a fighting game makes me chuckle.

reminds me of the guy who i met who claimed he played over 200 hours of cvs2, yet his best combo was jumpkick - sweep.

I remember the first time I did a real combo in cvs2, I almost cried from joy.

cr. jab > cr. jab xx Yun's down to forward punch, too gud

I only mention the time I've spent with SFIV to say that I'm not someone who played the game once and then decided to hate it. I tried to play it seriously but the more I played it, the more fault I found with it. Of course, I was using Fei Long as my main and he is really bad in this game.

The controls are sloppy in that you don't have to complete the input to get a move out. When I play Cammy, if I hit d.forward xx into qcf roundhouse instead of a spiral arrow she performs a cannon spike. SFIV reads forward, down forward + punch as a shoryuken. That's my point about the controls. I have less control over the game because of how liberally the engine interprets my motions. SRKs should be harder to perform given their damage and invincible frames.

XII is better than SFIV, even if it is an unfinished mess.

I played a Fei before. He's decent. Unless you're top level then almost anything goes in the mid-level.

I hear Yeb is sick with Gen, I hear Sanford has a good Cammy. Balance shmalance. Mr. Beef Mr. Shmeef.
