I purchased that Mayflash stick this morning and it's already shipped. I took a chance and ordered from joystores.com. If you're willing to wait (maybe a couple days, supposedly they're fast to ship), I could post impressions on both the site and the stick itself. All in all, came out to 48.27 shipped and after CA tax. Saved a couple compared to Play-asia and their ridiculous shipping, even after one of their 5off50 coupon codes.
I commend you for using a keyboard, I can barely pull off hadoukens and it's almost a guaranteed miss whenever I try a dragonpunch.
I'll be up for some ST (super street fighter turbo 2) on GGPO tonight. Be warned, I suck. I'll be willing to play 3s as well, though I tend to become a 5 year old kid mashing buttons whenever I play that game.
I'll look into Amazon or whatnot; I just need to get PrizeRebel/PayPal/free internet stuff since I'm broke right now
Buying that fighting stick not only branches off to fighting games, but I guess all arcade games as well. I loved SHMUPs, maybe I can play Dodonpachi properly
Also, hadoukens are one of the easier moves to pull off in the keyboard. My setting is using WASD 789/456 in the numpad. For hadoukens (or QCFs in general), just hit SD. Dragonpunches is where you start getting problems. I practiced it recently just using CPU, and I think I got it right (D, SD, D+Punch).
HCB/HCF is where it's iffy. It sometimes comes out as a QCF. 360s are just out of the question. Well, at least it's easy to type to your opponent.
