No, I don't think he's to be believed. The PS3 fightstick was selling on GS.com for the regular $69.99--at least, when it was available for pre-ordering.

Since the current inventory of GS B&M sticks are already ordered through, and no orders are currently being taken online at the moment, I'd say the point is moot. Just get it where you can, if it's available. Or wait until the next round...
 
360 players, add me. Tired of getting dropped on or DC'd before a match even starts in HD Remix. I'm not a spectacular player or anything, but I'd say over 70 of my ranked losses are because of those problems.

I'm glad they kept that feature, it was (in another form) in the arcade version of SFIV too.

If say I was playing Arcade Mode, I would be open to any challenges by any other player on connected SFIV machines, even if they didn't intend to.

So is Gamestop ready to sell these the 17th or 18th? I have the rest of the week off (well unscheduled) from my other job, so I'm ready to practice. I pre-ordered mine in November, but I keep getting different days from whoever picks up at my local GS :)

Man, the leaderboards on the PS3 version of HD Remix are weird. I've got a record of about 600+/340-ish, and I'm all the way at the very bottom of the ladder. Meanwhile, someone with 400-ish wins and 600-ish losses is higher up than I am. Don't make no sense! But whatever. Got some good games in, and some ragequits, which are usually pretty funny. No hilarious loss messages sent my way, though.

Yeah, ratings got screwed up on the 360 version as well. Mine stays at 0 no matter what.

Quest Crew is gonna take it in the end. I still think that any crew (except the cloggers) who would have gotten the magic ball would have killed it, no question. What they SHOULD have done was give EVERYONE the magic ball to keep the field even, and it's too bad they didn't cause I know QC would have KILT IT.:hot:

In other news, if all else fails for TE Sticks this week, I still have " 'Ol Faithful".

Got this beauty off of eBay in Nov for a little over a $100 with shipping. This is no longer an ordinary shitty Tekken Ani Stick (as I'm sure you all can tell)...it's been modified with a Sanwa JLW-TM Legacy bat-top and Seimitsu's. This plus my trusty Pelican adapter means I'm ready for gameday...on the PS3 anyway. The 360 is another story, though I do have that 360XFPS, but I swear there is a touch of lag when I use that thing.


Does anyone else have a 360XFPS? Notice any lag? Or is it all in my head?:hot:

Yes anything made by xcm is shit

The sanwa jlw is a pos unless modded the spring is too stiff and there is way too much deadzone.

Solution move the leafs to the closer position cut them in half and cut 3 coils off the spring. Now it feels like a jlf with even less deadzone.

Also, quick question...why are M.Bison, Balrog, and Vega being referred to as Dictator, Boxer, and Claw respectively? Is it so that both US and JPN players know that they are talking about the same character because of the name shuffle over here (in the US)?

In all seriousness, I feel it truly is. When I was growing up in Hawaii (I'm Black/Irish/German Jew/French/Cherokee Indian BTW, but thaks to my indian heritage, I do look like I'm mixed with some kind of Asian), almost everyone was obsessed with dancing and had their own dance crews. I even had a dance crew....we called ourselves Public Figure.

Like once a month in '89-'91, this place called Aloha Tower would hold dance offs...they weren't as fancy as ABDC, but the competition was just as fierce. Up to 20+ groups from all over the island would show up with their mixes and routines and dance for cash prizes (not much...like $250 for 1st place). Each group had their own fans/cheering section. It was awesome. I was even approached in the mall a coupla times from being recognized from my crew...got my 1st girlfriend that way. Good times indeed.

Then after the competition when the floor was open for anyone to dance, the best dancers of each crew would end up 'battling", and those were ALWAYS off the chain.

So yeah, I stand by my statement, Having been born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, I can honestly say that in my personal experience, the only thing Asians in my day cared more about than Street Fighter II was dancing.:cool:

I'm going to! :) I just haven't decided HRAP EX or SFIV SE. Probably HRAP EX, since I've never had a real HRAP. I was going to dual mod my SFIV TE stick, but I always have my Sanwafied Namco for PS2 and everything else thanks to adapters. I'd probably get an SE stick, but I don't want to hunt one down, plus I'd have to weigh it down probably.

I just want something for 360.

that's not even the full performance, u are missing the whole solo with Maryss at the beginning, which is like one of the best solos the show has ever had.

and Fly Khicks is aiite... I still like Michelle and Wendy so it's OK, plus they do got sum good moves, but when I see them dance and think "damn... wasnt Boxcuttuhz and TM supposed to be in this season too" then that's when I get sad lol

Probably sometime soon, once I get a good grip on what my tax return is gonna look like. The parents said they'd front me the cash so I can pay them later when I get the return, which is nice of them.

Buffet/Money match or not, I don't plan on eating the day before I get there. I'm gonna need all the room I can get when you pay for my food. ;)

Buffet match for the Rio buffet should be an intense match. A lot will be on the line. I'll be taking side bets on who has more plates at the end of the buffet. Team eating should also be wagered upon.
