Fallout NV is $20 at gamestop?
Tempted -- I think I'll wait for GOTY edition though.
Yep, that's where I got it last week. I'll tell you, despite all the glitches, it's still wayyyy better than Fallout 3.

Mad confused right now.
Do you not have your PS3 anymore?
Nope, sold it awhile ago.
I like dem screwdrivers, OJ and vodka. Traditional screwdrivers are 2 parts OJ to 1 part vodka, friend and I make them half and half.

Quick way to get ripped up, lemme tell you.
Aww yeahhhhhhh, used to this all the time. Used to make half and halfs with jack and coke too.
Why do people like steelbook cases? They're hard as fuck to get the discs out of.
Amen, that shit is annoying!

This looks sweet, have you tried it yet?

Also, about all the booze and hangover talk.. take lots of pisses and try to remember to drink water. Advil in the morning or the night of helps.

I dunno. Based off the reviews, I don't think I'd like it more... a lot of the initial impressions I saw had it likened to a F3 expansion with more glitches but not as good (don't remember the reason why at the moment).

My main gripe with Fallout 3 was the leveling. If you were a completionist and went for everything, you were overpowered and at the cap long before you were done... combined with a steep difficulty curve for first starting out... it was not well paced.

It's just not exciting to me at the moment... I think I'd rather they have Vanquish or Yakuza 3 for $20. I'd buy both instantly.

I'm also tempted by MK9 now for some reason... I want to give it a shot... but I'm not paying more than $40 for it out of pocket for sure and would rather pay less than $30. I'm hoping Amazon bumps up the $10 credit to a $20 credit.

Yeah, it's great. I think PVP is coming and booster packs.

Is it really? I loved Fallout 3, but only played a bit of New Vegas

I went back and started to do more of Playthrough 2 in Borderlands. That game has way too much content for its' own good considering the menu interface is terrible. Still enjoying it despite some bullshit deaths nearing the end of the game. I haven't even reached the final area yet. Once I do that I plan on doing the remaining DLC stuff.
Got the 360 beta update just now.
So did I. So uh, what did it change?

I just want my free copy of Gaylo Reacharound. :bouncy:

That's what I thought, but let me tell you, the story is so much better! Also, it's really nice to see some actual cities and not just little dinky irradiated towns.

The leveling's the same from what I can tell.. I'm pretty early in the main story and I just hit level 20, things are going pretty quick. There's not a steep curve though, it's been pretty easy from the get-go.

Ooh, I forgot about Yakuza 3. I'll probably pick that up sometime this week.

I dont even remember what the final areas of Borderlands are. Everything in that game kind of blends together after a while.

Not the final areas:

The fucking Eridians show up. That shoud've been memorable. Giant battle through caves/up cliffside to vault?

Granted, yeah, the scenery up to there is still mostly generic, but once you get beyond killing Flynt on the oil rig thing in the middle of the desert...

I completely agree. With the exception of Zombie Island and the very end of the main game (like Frosty said), everything blended together for me. I always assumed it was because I had put so many hours into the game, though.

I loved the PS3 Borderlands single player campaign. The multiplayer is full of Willowtree modders... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but Willowtree weapon mods take the challenge out of the game.

I haven't played on PS3, only 360, I've run into very, very few modders on there. And the ones I've run into will never share anything with me :(

I've run into some weapons in Knoxx that take the challenge out of the game. I have a couple of shotguns that do a ri-goddamn-diculous amount of damage. Kills almost anything except major bosses and Crawmerax in one shot.

Edit: Sheryl Lee in Twin Peaks may be the most beautiful woman I've seen in my entire life, ever. Seriously, love at first sight.

That would also mean you have to get up close though.

As for that F:NV deal, it's a good deal, but I'm waiting for a GOTY edition. I don't really have time to play a new Fallout game right now (F3 sucked up 70+ hours of my life). Plus I'd like to hopefully have a new PC to play it on within a year. My current one couldn't handle it I'm assuming, since Oblivion was practically unplayable on it. (just as a note, my current one isn't terrible, but for some reason it just can't play Bethesda games)

That is how I felt about Sherilyn Fenn for the entirety of the show.

The nobody sharing thing was irritating me to no end... so I installed Willowtree and made some of my own weapons. It's really quite easy to do. I played through a second time with my modded guns, and was able to kill the final boss with one shot. No lie.

I was going to wait for a GOTY edition, but they've only released 1 DLC so far and since it was half-off on Friday, I thought it was a good enough deal to go ahead and pick it up. Kinda wish I hadn't though, because it has become a pretty big time sink for me. I'm really addicted to it.

I thought Audrey was cute when she first appeared, but when Maddy first showed up.... goddamn. So GORGEOUS. The mix of the fashion, glasses, and hair just creates such a perfect cocktail of woman.

Shit makes me want to become a poet and devote my life to writing about her.

That's badass! I've had friends that offered to give me stuff when I played with them again, but they only give out hacked shields, and I don't see a reason for a shield that can take 3 billion damage and recharges in 5 seconds.

I actually prefer Sheryl Lee as a blonde in that show, even though 99% of the time I prefer brunettes. I also didn't care for those particular glasses.

Today's thursday, which is basically friday for me. So uh... I wanna play a game tonight even though I don't have hella time to do so... might just go for Mega Man X4 or Mega Man 8 or something...

I'm usually an equal opportunity man on the hair, but dem glasses. God DAMN! I love me a woman in glasses. :hot:

Especially dorky glasses.

I didn't fix the sentence, I just replaced a word and in no way changed the modern meaning.

SSF4AE trailer leaked.
If trailer is true (capcops already pulling it from youtube channels), it's DLC with enhanced replay mode (take that, salty MvC3 people). Also mentions something about selecting your favorite version... people are speculating that you can play SSF4 Bison vs. AE Akuma and the like.

Huh, capcops got the second one too.

I finished fallout 3 back in january. I keep meaning to pick up the broken steel DLC for it. (Shame I can't trade/sell the DLC afterwards like I can with the game)

I'd like to do fallout NV but it just feels 'too soon'. I'll probably wait until it gets down to 200-300 points on goozex.

Just sell/trade your F3 and get the GOTY edition, eldergamer.
Then you can sell the DLC.

Or rent/borrow the GOTY edition from somewhere/someone.

WTF is Willowtree in Borderlands?

You are 100% true and awesome

Managed to cut out a good number of words from my brief... now I'm at 3969 words... 31 words under the limit. Of course, I still have stuff to add, but it's getting there.

If this is true, Vanilla Bison and Vanilla Sagat here I come!

fucking lawyers, changing the meaning of words to mess you up. How is a "brief" 4000 words? ( I know, I know, it is use to establish your argument, but still.)

It's brief compared to the shitstorm of words that comes after the brief.

You'll find out how horrible that is when I put you in jail for being a yellow menace.

I got connections.

/edit: fuck that. They need to make it Hyper Street Fighter 4. Then everyone would get the best version of their character to play with.

I don't think it will work with allowing Vanilla.

Probably Super vs. AE only, I'd wager.

I'd bet that it's "choose AE or Super" before you play, sort of like HDR did.
However, that would severly limit the pools of players. Bisons/Hondas would stay with Super and not even bother with AE, and AE would be filled with the 4 new characters and Fei Long.

Hey man, I feel your pain. But Sega... Sega? These guys have a reputation. A bad one.

you...

YOU SHUT THE fuck UP YOU KNOW HOW MAD THE FISHING MADE ME

Sega needs to do one thing and I will buy it regardless of quality: Get Jaleel White to voice Retro Sonic. Spend the entire budget on that.

But, like I said on Skype one night, "Real-Talk: I actually liked Bigs the Cat and fishing in Sonic Adventure."
I think a whole game of just that probably would be too much though, however, I liked it as a side part of a game.

That'd probably cost next to nothing and make the game better than anything else imaginable..
