Definitely funner since battles aren't ending as soon as they begin. You have time to get more CC and play with the combat more. Been playing mostly as Sophie and Asbel so far. Don't want to play as Cheria since you have to focus on magic and healing mostly. Richard is a nice middle between the two styles. Haven't really tried to play as Pascal much, but will probably get to her before trying out Malik who I just got.
On the difficulty though, Richard's uncle was a bit of a problem when he would burst since you can't really tell your guys to back off and guard; he'd Hi-Ougi the hell out of them and leave me stumbling to bring them back to life. Victoria had the same issue, but she didn't have the huge amount of life that he did and she only had a chance to burst once in the fight.
I feel like in past Tales games that you could give on the fly orders to your party to defend or go all out and stuff like that. Would be useful in those circumstances where I know they're going to get murdered in one move.
I might have to change the difficulty then. I want to take full advantage of the combat engine.
I personally couldn't get into Sophie's combat.
is, in my opinion, the most fun to play as. Cheria is actually a lot of fun and pretty nice, granted you can position yourself properly. Pascal does tons of damage. She's the strongest in terms of DPS, I believe. You'll see once you try her out.
Screw Richard's uncle. That guy was a major douche in his burst mode.
you talking about tales of grace, right? if so which tales game is better?
Vesperia was great but I preferred Symphonia. Don't get me wrong, Troy Baker is the shit and I
