GGT #231 Declares Bullet Witch The Best 360 Exclusive This Gen
Same thing as every god damn summer. Just with fewer trips to town to wash my clothes this time, I guess.
So kill you next time right? That was the arrangement?
Halo's definitely coming back, 343 confirmed they are making Halo 4-5-6, so that's definitely going to release on the next system, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few offshoots such as ODST or Halo Wars that will come out as well, there's also a fair amount of arcade titles that are exclusive and they own some of the titles that they just haven't done much with (such as Rares stuff since they decided to make them a Kinect company, but their games like Banjo, Perfect Dark, Viva Pinata, and such are still there as well).
Difference between people can fly and 343 is they took the reigns of a trilogy and made it better
So kill you next time right? That was the arrangement?
Yeah, I'm already locked in for this summer. But if I try to do it next year? Murder the hell out of me. It's for the best.

]I've also played a real lot of all the Halo games, but when I used to play H1 we would usually LAN and then eventually play it online through PC, so I never looked at it as 2v2, but the 4v4 size I do agree with for being a good amount in team modes, although I've always been a big fan of the vehicles and those usually work better with more people IMO. Granted, I guess I'm more into FFA then any other mode so I don't really view it on a team size mode as much as what modes are there in general, kind of like how 4 only had Regicide until the most recent DLC added the normal FFA modes (Which I thought were awesome). But I do understand that a lot of people play it for the team modes instead and I guess we will have to see what they decide to do with the franchise MP from here.

Fair enough. I didn't have broadband access at that point and time so I was limited to LAN. I added you on XBL in case you ever want to play Halo.

Alright, sounds good. Just want to mention that my K/D is usually right around the 1 mark and I don't really get to serious with the game even though I play a lot, mainly just play for fun and to enjoy the game. I like how you have the decepticon logo here and the autobot one on xbox though.

I played too much Tales today. Jumped the difficulty up to Evil and spent an hour or so grinding out titles for some reason. For Lux, I just took Barona and heading back to Lhant now I guess.

Also drinking one of these.

How was the difficulty change? Felt better for you? You're not that far from where I am, I think. I vaguely remember that part, lol.

That drink looks....

Hmm.
Thanks Sony EU for giving PS+ Okami HD.

It might be. The only thing that's been confirmed is the Songbird DLC. They might make a DLC about the Vox Booker, which would be pretty interesting. We'll just have to see.
Oh, shit, they actually confirmed it? That was pretty much the only DLC I was really hoping for. Even without illumination, I actually loved the character and it's dynamic.
I wonder how they'll do it. Might be neat to see a BioShock 2 approach where you see/play through the Songbird's actual creation.
I was wondering where you were.

But than I naturally assumed you were just drunk.
Psh, I was only drunk on Friday and Saturday. :nottalking:

I passed out at 7 PM on Saturday night, if you want an idea. That is, after I devoured this bitch. Red Robin double patty melt.

Then it was all Patron and Dewdrivers until I passed out for an hour, got up at 8 PM, more shots shots shots.

Definitely funner since battles aren't ending as soon as they begin. You have time to get more CC and play with the combat more. Been playing mostly as Sophie and Asbel so far. Don't want to play as Cheria since you have to focus on magic and healing mostly. Richard is a nice middle between the two styles. Haven't really tried to play as Pascal much, but will probably get to her before trying out Malik who I just got.

On the difficulty though, Richard's uncle was a bit of a problem when he would burst since you can't really tell your guys to back off and guard; he'd Hi-Ougi the hell out of them and leave me stumbling to bring them back to life. Victoria had the same issue, but she didn't have the huge amount of life that he did and she only had a chance to burst once in the fight.

I feel like in past Tales games that you could give on the fly orders to your party to defend or go all out and stuff like that. Would be useful in those circumstances where I know they're going to get murdered in one move.

you talking about tales of grace, right? if so which tales game is better?

Out of which ones?

If you want to talk this gen, from what I hear people enjoy Vesperia's story and characters more but that Graces has the better combat.

I haven't played Vesperia myself, despite me owning it since forever, so I can't really compare the two.

I might have to change the difficulty then. I want to take full advantage of the combat engine.

I personally couldn't get into Sophie's combat.
Hubert's
is, in my opinion, the most fun to play as. Cheria is actually a lot of fun and pretty nice, granted you can position yourself properly. Pascal does tons of damage. She's the strongest in terms of DPS, I believe. You'll see once you try her out.

Screw Richard's uncle. That guy was a major douche in his burst mode.

Vesperia was great but I preferred Symphonia. Don't get me wrong, Troy Baker is the shit and I
LOOOOOOOOL@ bioshock infinites ending
It's great, right? Most people won't understand it if they derped throughout the whole game.

I think I like Sophie the most. She's probably the most versatile character so far. Healing spells, range attacks, aoe (that dagger rain is awesome) plus she has a fuckin counter! Not too mention how good she can be at juggling up front. Honestly, if you couldn't alter Asbel's b-artes I would probably never be him in favor of her. The alteration to his lighting and ice attacks (Moonlight Blade, I believe) is great for keeping people occupied (like that douche uncle) and the fact that you can go from Shockwave Slash -> Phantasm Slash -> Abyssal Seal using one button is awesome.

I'll most likely try Pascal next time I play. She definitely seems Melia from Xenoblade in that she is God Tier in a players hands, but then I hear that Hubert, being a glass cannon, can keep enemies indisposed for days has me excited to try him too.

I didn't say I didnt like it.
I found it to be hilariously bad, binary domain style.

You spend a majority of the game exploring deep issues like racism, religion, and nationalism that as far as I know, has never been done like that before in a game, except Bioshock 1 which explored class division and government.

Your totally tied up in this tense situation. You watch Columbia fall to the Vox while you try to finish up your loose ends with Elizabeth. The game is so serious and encompassing, its fantastic. Then you get to the end, and your basically told everything is like Back to the Future. Its so ridiculous, i just started laughing. I'm pretty sure I laughed all the way from Rapture to the credits.

Instead of tying off this wonderful story of spectacle and morality, the game throws in a left curve thats so far-fetched, abstract, and just plain stupid it really lessens everything else that happened in the game. I knew the diaries were pointing towards this with the tears and blah blah blah, but it doesnt really make it any better. its just silly.

The whole "mind asplode" thing failed to deliver for me at all. I find those type of plots amateurish most of the time
Not to menton the fact that nobody is going to understand the ending without collecting every single recorder.

Binary Domain had a great ending.

You like, fight the military and then split up with Laura Bailey but then go back to her anyways.

It's all really good.
Spoilers.
That's what alternate dimensions do. Constant and variables. Some of those themes you mention didn't need to be addressed because they were more so related to a Booker from another dimension, and not the Booker we played as. For example, Comstock was racist, not Booker.

I respect your opinion, and can somewhat understand just why you think believe the ending was the way it is. Voxophones really make a huge difference. ._.

Alternate dimensions are usually a joke, anyways.

Laura Bailey is in that game?

Good job. You just sold the game to me.

I can see why people might like it
so I dont hate it I guess
I just don't fall into mind asplode plots
the only one I like offhand is total recall, which is a 2 hour movie. big difference

But to me the "main" storylines of bioshock games are jokes.
I never really cared about what happened with Booker or Elizabeth.
it was all so abstract and asinine

I don't even remember the "main" story of bioshock 1
I remember it being pretty stupid
that game was all about experiencing rapture and the forces behind it as an entity
something that was cut short in infinite for booker's storyline
Columbia is nowhere near as fleshed out as rapture
Columbia is nowhere near as fleshed out as rapture
I agree. Columbia was just, "Hey, it's a city in the sky, and this is how we roll." Rapture was more like, "MYSTERY, GAIZ."

If the voice acting in the video is a representation of the voice acting in the rest of the game then shit... it sucks.

Laura Bailey, what have you done? ._.

Ragna the Bloodedge does not suck.

And it's nice to see Laura do something a little different.

You know what does suck? Chie's new voice. If this is how she sounds in Arena & Golden, than I'm not sure I'm going to be able to play those games.
LOL i forgot about the french robot omgz
Man, thinking about going to GameStop today and getting some of those really cheap games. Especially since they're coming up 75% off.

You honestly get used to Chie's new voice. I disliked it at first but the further I got into Golden, the more it made sense. It's not that bad after a while.

You should do it, bro.

By you I mean Joel, and by bro I mean Joel.

Okay.
