I don't understand how you guys can buy 3 games on the first day of an 11 day sale with new deals each day and then complain that the sale sucks, lol.  Seems like expectations may have been unreasonable.

 
So I've been practicing Tekken on a stick and my style of play has completely changed. I've learned so many more of King's grabs that it's crazy and I finally pulled off the rolling death cradle.

Ah cool, hope you had a good time with your dad then!

I actually enjoyed Anime Expo more than I thought I would, since the size kind of scared me due to my experiences with Otakon, but I think I actually enjoyed it more than Otakon just because I didn't really seem to run into as many bad apples, and the venue didn't feel nearly as cramped where just trying to get from one place to another took forever. So assuming I'm still in CA I'll probably be going with my friends again next year I think.

LOl, bad apples? what is the worst thing someone at a place like anime expo are going to do? take a picture of you without you knowing, being a pervert, going around trying to grope/ harass you( if you are a female).

LOl, nothing is wrong with wearing a tmnt shirt, but i doubt it will be a chick magnet, and attract chicks to you. More like a chick repellent

I don't think anything is really a chick repellent outside of a pedophile comb over. I pretty much exclusively wear comic and cartoon related tees and chicks be flocking around me all the time. 

TMK is older and seems to only wear anime tees and he basically drowns in women. I say drowns because he doesn't know how to seal the deal and swim through the bountiful ass quite yet.

then you must be a male-model/ good looking guy. I have never seen girls/women flocking to guys wearing the types of tees you mentioned. Maybe in a setting like comic-con/ gaming conventions.

i thought u were going to get the game no matter what, basically anything with metal gear on it. He would be smart not to release metal gear phantom pain this year with gta v coming up, and focus on next year as the release date, or maybe even later.

Not necessarily that good looking, but I do know how to pull a look together. Either that or I'm always lucky enough to be surrounded by enough chicks that pick up what I'm puttin' down.

The part in red. I crossplay and I've had some major issues with people doing that stuff before (only at Otakon of the conventions that I've cosplayed at, namely Sakura Con, Nan Desu Kan, Otakon, Fanime, and Anime Expo), as well as some of them being kind of creepy and making me feel uncomfortable. I've been groped a couple times without being asked, heard some kind of mean comments, and had one person ask if he could take an up-skirt photo of me.

So I officially have no idea how the trading cards work in steam.  Take Hotline Miami.   The badge requires 6 cards.  I only have 2 cards with 1 duplicate.  What am I supposed to do with them?

I know a lot of people didn't like Defiance, but for $13.59 I would say it's worth it. I play it on Xbox 360 and there's still a fair amount of people on, enough to do everything at least, and if you get it now they are recapping the whole first season worth of content since Season 1 of the show ended so you can get caught up on all of the in-game stuff. Then the first DLC (some of it's free, some isn't) is coming out sometime in the summer they said, and this article makes it seem pretty good

That's not really how it works, you can only get a certain amount of drops from each game. While in Steam if you click on your name towards the top and then Badges, you will see how many drops you can get per game. Then you are supposed to trade/buy the cards you need to complete the set, or you can just sell the cards and make a little money instead (this is what I do)

I can recommend ScribbleNauts and Dark Souls at those prices, I haven't played them on PC but they are both fun, and I heard you can get some mods to make Dark Souls run better as well.

 
I thought Scribblenauts was a little boring.

Dark Souls is pretty much a yes. But be sure to use the DSfix if you buy this.

I haven't played Don't Starve yet so i have nothing else to say besides.....trading cards?

I'm a bit hesitant on Dark Souls since I already have it for PS3. I can probably afford to wait for another 2.50 drop in price. I'll think about it and decide before bed.

Oh, yeah if you already have it I don't think I'd get it again, I have it on 360 now and I don't really see a reason to get it again as you could just start a new character if you wanted to play it again without spending any money :p

I kind of want don't starve, but I don't want to pay $9.  I'd pick it up for $5, without a doubt.

I also want the Borderlands 2 DLC, but I don't really want to spend $20.

As to why anyone would think that $7.50 is too much to get a game on PC with all of it's DLC content and the ability to run at a locked 30fps (of 60fps, if you use the DSfix), I have not clue.

fuck, if you buy the DLC on PS3, it's $15.

And even then, you'd have to deal with framerate dips.

There's talk that people have had their GFWL accounts banned for using DSfix.

I think it's just because I've already played through the game and have buddies that have it on 360, along with the DLC when they put it on sale a while back. If you just started or weren't very far in it I suppose it might be worth picking up again, but I would rather play some new games instead of going back through something I've already played just because it's cheap.
